    “Deiva Marina ist ein netter Ort ohne Sehenswürdigkeiten. Man kann aber von dort sehr leicht nach Cinque Terre etc. kommen. Ein Auto ist nicht notwendig, man kann alles mit der Bahn erledigen. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen - vielleicht gerade, weil es so "normal" ist. Es gibt einige Absonderlichkeiten. Im trockenen Fluss lebt ein Emu! Wildschweine laufen über die Straße etc. Eine Strecke zum Joggen gibt es aber nicht so richtig (am Meer entlang leider nicht möglich).”

    “Es gibt einige Restaurants, Pizzerien und Imbisse. Man kann für knapp 30 Euro für zwei Personen essen gehen oder für wesentlich mehr. Viel zu sehen gibt es allerdings nicht im Ort. Die sogenannte Passegeria (Strandpromenade) ist eine Baustelle, die zwar begehbar ist, aber im unteren Bereich nicht fertiggestellt wurde. Diese Baustelle sieht auch nicht so aus, als ob sie jemals fertig gestellt werden würde. Wir sind mit dem eigenen Auto angereist und auf der Hinreise aus Richtung Genua in Sestri Levante von der Autobahn gefahren. Hierbei muss man mehrmals durch ehemalige Eisenbahntunnel direkt am Meer nach Deiva Marina fahren. Diese Eisenbahntunnel sind jedoch in wechselndem Einbahnverkehr zu benutzen. D. h., man muss sich (gerade am Wochenende) auf erhebliche Wartezeiten einstellen. Wenn man die direkt Autobahnabfahrt benutzt sind es ca. 8 Kilometer durch die Berge hinunter nach Deiva Marina. Deiva Marina ist ein ruhiges kleines Örtchen, welches sich hervorragend als Stützpunkt eignet um von dort aus mit der Bahn sowohl in die Cinque Terre als auch Ausflüge in Richtung Genua zu unternehmen. Die Bahnfahrkarten können in der ansässigen Tabacchiera gekauft werden. Bahnfahren ist recht günstig in Italien. Der Strand und das Wasser ist sauber, ebenso die Umkleidemöglichkeiten und die Toilette am Strand. Das angebotene Essen im Bagno war günstig und gut.”
