Location description : Naturally sound: 17.000 hectares of Oberstdorf (roughly 75 %) have been declared a nature preserve, wild reserve or national park, of which 12.000 hectares belong to the "Allgäuer Alps" national park, alone. Tiefenbach 900 m: This climatic health resort is one of the oldest in the upper valley of the Iller and looks banck upon a long hosting tradition. Peaceful and yet active, with old houses, a modern fitness centre and wild nature. Both the Rohrmoostal and Breitachklamm are a stone's throw away and werde made accessible by some brave inhabitants from Tiefenbach at the beginning of the century. It is thanks to them that we are now able to admire this natural wonder from convenient footbridges. Hence, Tiefenbach offers you sun, activity and fresh mountain air in abundance.
Other leisure facilities : Mountains: Nebelhorn, Fellhorn, Söllereck, Kanzelwand: Over 44 km ski runs, of it approx. 30 km almost, 30 different lifts, numerous cozy lodges; For Snowboarder: Steep halfpipes and cool funparks. 85 km of prepared cross-country trails and ski tour fans enjoy routes with nationally examined ski teachers. The snowbike school at the Söllereck shows, how one takes joint-carefully each departure. Lakes and stadium invite to the ice running, ice stick shooting and Curling. Excellent toboggan runs and romantic horse-drawns. Applications of cures locally. 200 km of hiking and biking tracks.
