Quiet but still situated in the heart of Grindelwald, the typical Swiss Chalet Endweghüsli offers traditional accommodation at a perfect location for all excursions to the Bernese Oberland.
The apartment First (approx. 35sqmtrs) is located in the 2nd floor (without balcony) provides a beautiful view to the Eiger and Kleine Scheidegg. It is mostly made of wood and provides shower/toilet with hairdryer, free Wifi, flat-screen TV and telephone. The separate small kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave, oven, stovetop, small dishwasher, kettle and capsule coffee machine (Delizio).

Guests at the apartment can book the buffet breakfast or even a 4-course-half board dinner at the nearby hotel Derby at an extra charge. Or try a traditional Swiss dish or international cuisine in one of their à la carte restaurants. The use of the hotel’s sauna is free of charge for guests of the Chalet Endweghüsli (reservation required). You find a ski or hiking pass sales point at the hotel reception.

Popular points of interest near the accommodation include First (Firstbahn) and the train to Kleine Scheidegg/Wengen and Jungfraujoch“ Top of Europe as well as several hiking, skiing and cycling areas. The nearest airports are either Basel, Zurich or Geneva (approx. 2-3hrs by public transport). Each of the apartments also has its own free outdoor parking space.

Check-in, key handover and check-out are made at the reception of the Derby Hotel Grindelwald directly at the train station and only 2 minutes walk away from the appartment. The hotel team will be at your disposal for all information during your stay. Please consider the opening hours of the reception desk.

    “Sehr zu empfehlen Positiv: Blick auf Eiger-Nordwand und ins Tal. FeWo liegt im Obergeschoss, gute Aussicht! Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Negativ: Leider kein Balkon. Restaurant: Pfingstegg - Wunderschöne Wanderung zum Pfingstegg. Leckeres Essen und sehr familiäre Atmosphäre! Ausflüge: In Lauterbrunnen parken, von dort zu den Trümmelbachfällen wandern - Das Gletscherwasser von Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau donnert durch den Berg. Ein einmaliges visuelles und akustisches Spektakel.”

    “Positiv: Sehr zentrale Lage zur Hauptstrasse und dem Bahnhof. Sehr nette Betreuung im Hotel, ruhige, gemütliche und sehr gepflegte Wohnung, gemütliche Gemeinschaftsterrasse, sehr naher Parkplatz.”

    “First kann ich empfehlen! Positiv: ganz in der Nähe vom Bahnhof Negativ: Weder Salz, Pfeffer noch Zucker etc. vom Vormieter angetroffen, musste ich alles für wenige Anwendungen einkaufen. Das alles (auch Butter, Öl, Salat) habe ich bei Abreise für Nachfolger zurückgelassen.”

    “Parfait pour 5 personnes, très bon accueil! Superbe vue sur l'Eiger, et grand balcon (partagé par les appartements) très agréable pour l'apéro! Ce fut un weekend prolongé parfait et j'y retournerai sans hésiter! Proche de toutes le commodités, bus, gare, magasins et des départs de randonnées. Empfehlung: Spacieux et confortable.”
