Comfortably furnished holiday house with a beautifully laid-out garden
This detached single-family house is on a residential estate just a few kilometres from the little regional town Daun in the Vulkaneifel. The house is a former barn with a bakery (built in 1910) that was fully restored, renovated and charmingly decorated from 2006 to 2009.
The holiday house of around 83m² has a living room with a corner sofa that can be pulled out as a bed (180cm wide), a coffee table and a stereo system with a CD player and radio. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a ceramic hob, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, an espresso machine, a toaster and a kettle. The former bakery is integrated into the kitchen. The adjoining open dining room has a generous dining table for up to eight people to dine together. The owner can provide a highchair, children’s toys and board games for all ages for games evenings. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180cm wide). The bathroom has a bath, a separate shower, a WC, a washbasin and a hairdryer. There is also a guest WC. The whole house has (underfloor) heating and free wireless Internet access.
The 400m² outdoor area includes several terraces with seating and two deckchairs. The main terrace is on the south side. You can end the evening with a sociable grill evening, using the charcoal grill provided. There are two private outdoor parking spaces free of charge. A maximum of two pets are allowed free of charge, any further pets are charge a fee to be agreed with the owner.
As the owner lives on site, you have a direct contact person to assist with any queries.
The holiday accommodation is in the beautiful Vulkaneifel. There are wonderful walks and some very well-developed cycle paths, such as the Maare-Mosel cycle path. The surroundings are also ideal for mountain bikers. From the house you have direct access to nature. The popular Vulkan hiking trail leads almost past the site. It is about 10-15 minutes on foot to the Eifelsteig. In the house you can find information about the region, relevant hiking maps, hiking guidebooks and cycling maps.
