LOCATION :
The property, two Restored Stone Homes of an old farmer Hamlet, is surrounded from a forest area, a quiet unspoiled landscape.
It offers a unique view on the garden, the peaks of mount Parnon and the nearby village Amygdalia.
It is placed between the beaches and the mountain villages of Leonidio at a distance of 18km from Mount Parnon and Leonidio city, on the way to Kyparissi.
The near beaches of Fokianos and Poulithra are at 15-minute drive away (12km).
The high mountains touch the sea creating picturesque beaches.
There is a cool and dry atmosphere, pleasant to the summer nights.
FEATURES:
An Entire two-bedroom holiday Home of 85m2
open out to large verandas and large garden area.
It features 2 large BEDROOMS : A main bedroom with double bed. A second bedroom with two single beds. An extra foldaway bed for a 5th person, proper for a kid is available, on request.
The unit is equipped with a private BATHROOM with bath, hairdryer and washing machine, towels and bed linen are available.
The accommodation is fitted with a charming, spacious LIVING ROOM with sitting and dining place, wood stove, study corner and KITCHENETTE fitted with a fridge, stovetop and coffee machine.
The house is heated, a flat-screen TV-Sat and free WiFi is available. Are available on site a Private parking and a Barbeque area with outdoor dining place and 2 large verandas.
The House is ideal for relaxing vacations, for swimming, fishing, diving, climbing, hiking, and as base for exploring Peloponnese. For two couples or for a family with two or three children. It is suitable also for long-term rentals (Spacious and pleasant living room, washing machine, Kitchen, outdoor eating place).
LANDSCAPE AND VEGETATION
The area is located between Leonidion, three small villages, the near beaches and the mountain peaks.
A forest area is around the property, covered with maple trees, oak, wild pistachio, almond trees, shrubs and aromatic plants such as oregano and thyme.
There are no farmer activities, there are not greenhouses, vegetable crops, fruit trees or olive trees cultivations, it is a unspoiled nuture.
THE CLIMATE AND THE ALTITUDE
-The altitude is 650m from the sea level.
-The temperature is 3 to 4 degrees lower than Leonidion and beaches during the day and 6 degrees lower during the night, without the moisture of the coastal areas and of the city.
The Climate here is pleasant cool and dry.
A quality drinking water it is coming from Mount Parnon.
There is a cool and dry atmosphere, pleasant to the summer nights.
-MORPHOLOGICAL CARACTERISTICS
Today after a recent restoration, the houses retain the main morphological
characteristics, the stone walls, the fireplace, the typical local Arcadian style.
The three restored Holiday Houses are forming a small Hamlet within a large garden
area of 10.000qm.
They offer a unique view on the garden, the peaks of mount Parnon and the nearby
village Amygdalia.

Three small villages Peleta, Pigadi and Amygdalia can be found all around, one beside the other at a distance of 1 to 3 km from the property.
Guests can visit them by car, bike or foot.
A grocery store, traditional restaurants and traditional Greek coffee houses can be found there.
Additional facilities as Supermarkets, Pharmacy, Bank, Medical center, shops and restaurants you can find in Leonidio, the small picturesque town at the foot of mount Parnon at a distance of 18 km.
-WALKS - HIKING
Some suggestions from our visitor :
…..I've been looking at our diary and at maps, in order to suggest some walks that visitors could do from your cottages;
the best map is the Anavasi 8.7 Mt Parnon, with a scale of 1:50,000 described as a "hiking map"
However, there are now an increasing number of walks on WikiLoc and other websites. The walks we enjoyed from Amygdalia were the one above Vlisidia (Neochori) it continues to Kosmas and the one in the Sunflower Southern Peloponnese book (now sadly out of print) from Pigadhi down to Poulithra via Longari. In the past we've walked from Kremasti to Kyparissi (in two halves!)--this is on an adjoining map published by Anavasi online but not in printed form. Other walks, marked on maps but which we didn't try because of the hot/rainy weather, are from Pera Melana to Leonidio, from Poulithra to Phokianos and from Pyrgoudhi to Poulithra. None of the walks is waymarked (the only waymarked paths on Parnon are around Polydrosso).
