The apartment is in a two-family house in a quiet, sunny but central location.
The accommodation consists of two holiday apartments and is suitable for two to six adults plus two children. It offers a fully-equipped kitchen and a generous dining space. There are two bathrooms each with a shower, WC and bidet.
The ground-floor apartment (ca. 100m²) consists of a bedroom with a double bed with comfortable sprung mattresses, two bedside tables and a big bedroom cupboard with a mirror. An additional single folding bed is also available. The first bathroom adjoins the bedroom and measures around 9m², fitted with a washbasin, shower, WC, bidet and hairdryer. In a separate niche this bathroom also has a washing machine. The kitchen (15m²) is equipped with a modern kitchen block: four-flame gas stove, electric oven, spacious fridge, extra freezer and a dishwasher. Plenty of crockery and cutlery is provided, along with kitchen towels, a toaster and a microwave. A large extendable table with four comfortable upholstered chairs invites you to sit together sociably. The main entrance room, which also has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, provides an easily convertible sofa bed measuring 120 x 180 cm. The second bathroom (7m²) is next to the kitchen and equipped with a washbasin, shower, WC and bidet. The second bedroom is directly opposite the bathroom. The bedroom with direct access to the garden is furnished with a double bed that can be converted into two single beds, a cupboard, a smaller dresser and a mirror. This room is very spacious, so it is no problem to set up a children’s travel bed (available9 or a single folding bed (available).
From the cosy garden (approx.. 100m² and an additional paved area of 80m²) you can see the sea. Garden furniture, a table and chairs are provided, along with a grill. The site is fenced in and therefore also suitable for children and dogs. The garden has a little lawn and many flowers. On hot summer days you can cool off under the outdoor shower. A wonderfully fragrant lemon tree serves as shade. On the two garden sides of the house there are two adjoining open plots with beautiful old olive trees so you need not feel constrained despite the central location of the holiday apartment. There are parking spaces nearby (approx. 30 m). The site is on a slight slope so you cannot drive right up to it. The path to the house is about 30 m.
Please note that the apartment is non-smoking. The owner offers guests arriving by plan a private collection service from Nice airport (payable) for max. three persons and three large pieces of luggage.
It is possible to rent the two holiday apartments separately, either for two adults and a child (property 687889) or the second apartment for a maximum of three adults and two children (property 687986).
Nearby (approx. 100m) there is a little well-stocked grocery shop (fresh rolls, meat, cold cuts etc.). It is easy to get to the sea and always downhill. The beach with little pebbles is about 600 metres away. There is a swimming pool with a water slide the same distance away. The big water park Le Caravelle is just a 25-minute drive away. Important: the beaches in Imperia are free, no obligation to rent loungers and parasols. You will not find mass tourism in Imperia Oneglia (only in August when half of Italy is on holiday does it get a bit fuller here. However, for those of you who like a bit more hustle and bustle sometimes, no problem! It is just a short distance by car or a leisurely cycle ride to the neighbouring Diano Marina that has been set up more for tourism in recent years. The connection by public transport is well-organised and uncomplicated. You can walk to the nearby Villa Grock with its beautifully laid out park, an ideal recreational destination. Imperia’s olive oil museum Olio Carli recounts the history of olive oil extraction, very interesting for all ages. At the picturesque fishing harbour of Imperia (600m) you will find many restaurants and bars inviting you to indulge. Fish lovers can purchase directly from fishing boats in the mornings. Not necessarily cheaper, but of course super fresh. Twice a week, you can stock up on delicious specialities from the region or fresh fruit at the weekly market with a Mediterranean flair. The weekly market is also nearby, about a ten-minute walk with no car needed. During your entire stay, the owner is happy to provide advice. She herself is German, but has been living for many years in her chosen homeland of Italy-Ligurian coast-Imperia.
