This small, two storey holiday home with a mini pool is only 18 km from the airport in Faro, in the hilly backcountry with beautiful hiking trails. Our guests love the central location of the property. Sandy beaches can easily be reached, as well, in about 20 minutes by car.
The house boasts a large, open plan, fully furnished kitchen with a dining table and a shower tub. The living room boasts a fireplace. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed and is accessible via a winding staircase; the second, smaller bedroom is furnished with two single beds and is accessible from the large bedroom. Wireless internet access is available, but limited.
There are a garden with a patio and a barbecue, a small pool (home built), measuring 3.50 m (diameter) x 0.90 m (depth) and a car parking space. Pets are permitted.
The house is located about two kilometres north of the town centre in Almargens. The landscape is quite hilly and green. Hiking trails abound. It is 4 km to a small lake. The property is easily accessible on a paved road. There is very little traffic. The property is fenced in. The central location allows you to reach the Algarve to the West and Spain to the East in 40 minutes. Sao Bras de Alportel , Algarve , Portugal is about fifteen km north of Faro and eighteen km from the airport. It is centrally located in the Algarve region. It makes for a great home base to discovering the region. S. Bras is a small town with about 10,000 residents, several cafes, restaurants and shops. There is also a cinema, two churches, a museum, a library, a pool and a sauna. Several internet access points are accessible in the town.
