The Harz holiday house for up to 8 people plus a baby is in a very charming location in the highest mountain village, Braunlage-Hohegeiss, right by a hiking trail and near the forest. It is on a quiet cul-de-sac near the sledging piste, the free forest swimming pool with a lovely setting, and the narrow gauge railway up to Brocken.

The non-smoking holiday house was renovated in 2007, redecorated and painted in 2017. It has a total of four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Three bedrooms have a double bed and there is a children’s room with a bunk bed. Two children’s travel beds and two highchairs are available. The living room provides two sofas each for three people, a fireplace stove, satellite TV and a CD player, and free wireless Internet access. The modern built-in kitchen is equipped with an oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, egg boiler and modern crockery. It also has a big table for up to 8 people and a folding table with two chairs for children. There is a little bathroom on the upper floor with a shower, WC, washbasin and a big bathroom with a bath, shower, WC, washing machine and hairdryer on the ground floor. If you order bed linen then large and small towels are also included.

There are little lawns in front of and behind the house. Garden furniture, a parasol, and a grill are available. There is a garage and there are parking spaces by the house.

There are shops, restaurant, ski rentals and free bus transfers within a two-minute walk. It is about 100 about a four-minute walk to a big adventure playground and about 150 m to the fantastic sledge lift.

The house is suitable for those seeking peace and quiet, families and bikers, with something for everyone.

    “Das Haus ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen.Es ist aber alles gepflegt und im guten Zustand.Wir waren Vier Erwachsene, 2 Kinder und ein Hund.Wir konnten die Ruhe und die Zeit genießen.Die Bratpfannen müssten mal erneuert werden.Sonst war alles OK.”

    “Wir waren mit 6 Personen für ein Wochenende in dem super eingereichten Haus. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Was wir vorher nicht wussten, dass das Haus nicht direkt in Braunlage sondern in Hohegeiß liegt :)
    Mit der Kurtaxe, die man bei den sehr sehr netten Vermietern bekommt, kann man aber den Bus nach Braunlage nutzen.
    Das Haus ist sehr groß und schön eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man zum kochen braucht.
    War ein sehr schönes Wochenende!
    Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :)”
