Casa Julietta: comfortable and spacious house with impressive views
Build on a hillside, overlooking the atlantic and mount teide on one side, the banana plantations in the valley of Hermigua on the other, with an all glass facade, you can enjoy the view from anywhere in the house. At an altitude of 100m (330ft) the climate is pleasant all year round.
Close to the natural seawater pool 'El Pescante' and several hiking trails.
Casa Julietta offers comfort and space for up to 6 guests: 2 large bedrooms with KING SIZE beds, boxspring mattresses, ensuite bathrooms and access to balcony/terrace. Third bedroom has a bunk bed.
Immaculate and fully equipped kitchen with: dishwasher, oven, hub, food processor, fridge and freezer, espresso and coffee machine (washing machine and iron/board in the basement). Dining area.
Modern house, full of light, design furniture and comfort and space to allow for luxury living.
Large terrace adjoining the first floor dining area and bedroom, with impressive vistas.
Master bedroom on the second floor has its own balcony. Rooftop terrace (60m2) with lounges to relax and sunbathe. Small garden.
Part of a small residential project (6 houses) with splendid architecture, built with local stone, wood and respect for tradition. Neighbors are close but discreet and extremely friendly.
Easy to find, along the main road from Hermigua to Agulo. You can park in front of the house or in the garage.
We will provide flip flops to wear in the house, because of the floors and stairs of precious wood, not to be stepped on with shoes. Please inform us of your shoe sizes.
Hermigua is an authentic village, off the beaten track, yet famous for its hiking trails to the Unesco world heritage Garajonay National park and the Majona park - lush unspoiled nature and wildlife.
Several local restaurants and bars within walking distance. A well assorted supermarket (Spar) at 900 meters. Bus stop at 300 meters.
A small hiking trail leads down to a black pebble beach (very strong current in winter and spring) and the natural seawater pool of El Pescante: early summer till late autumn. The most beautiful beach in La Gomera, playa La Caleta, is a 25min walk a 10min drive to the next bay.
The island's capital, San Sebastian, with beaches where you can swim all year round, a harbour, hospital and every possible facility is a 20min drive.
