Holiday apartment with a balcony and its own pool, above Split, near the Klis fortification
This comfortable holiday apartment is on the first floor of a private house. It is a 15-minute drive from Split, in the quiet locality of Klis, with a fortification where performances are also held. Owing to the location on a hill above Split, it affords magnificent views of the sea, the town of Split and the islands Hvar, Brač, Šolta, Vis and Čiovo.
The apartment renovated in 2014 can accommodate up to four people. It has a bedroom with a double bed (180 x 190cm), and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The spacious living room has a sofa bed (130 x 190cm) for two further people. The kitchen with its dining space is fully-equipped. The air conditioning unit is in the living room.
In front of the house there is the pool, which is only used by house guests. There is also a barbecue. The pool area has four deckchairs, two tables and a parasol. You can enjoy the sun on the deckchairs or look for a shaded spot in the garden. Right next to the pool there is a playground for children. The apartment also has its own balcony (15m²) furnished with a big table and four chairs. There are two parking spaces available on the site, which is not fenced.
In the neighbourhood you can try regional specialities, such as squid, lamb or homemade olive oil. The nearest grocery shop is a kilometre away. You can go on trips to Krka National Park with its impressive waterfalls (an hour away by car) or visit the islands of Hvar, Brač, Šolta or Vis. The boat harbour is just ten kilometres from the apartment. If you would like to visit Dubrovnik or Mostar with its oriental architecture, then plan a two-hour car journey. It is a half-hour drive to Trogir and 45 minutes to Makarska with the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic coast.
