Spacious, recently (2016) renovated holiday apartment with a mezzanine level, in an imposing old building with a lift
This spacious and charmingly furnished holiday apartment is in an ideal location for exploring Budapest, in the trendy 7th district of the Hungarian capital. The Erzsébetváros district has developed into an ever more multifaceted and leisurely trendy meeting place. Despite the top central location, it is quiet here and all windows look out over the interior courtyard.
The 82m² holiday apartment is on the first floor of an imposing, four-storey old building from the year 1920 with a lift. It was renovated just recently in 2016 and provided with modern furnishing for a comfortable stay. It comprises a living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, a separate dining room, a sleeping area and an enclosed bedroom on the mezzanine level, as well as a bathroom. The living room provides a double sofa bed for two persons plus a sofa just for seating and a large armchair. There also is a, a glass coffee table, a wall-mounted digital flatscreen TV, a DVD and CD player. The tiled fireplace stove exudes a cosy atmosphere and pleasant warmth on cooler evenings. The kitchen is equipped with a four-zone gas stove, an oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a kettle and plenty of crockery and cutlery. You can enjoy leisurely holiday meals at the table with six chairs. The bathroom is fitted with a bath with a shower attachment, a washbasin with a wall mirror, a toilet, a hairdryer and even a washing machine. Wide wooden stairs lead up to the mezzanine level with two separate sleeping areas: an open area with a double bed (160 x 200cm) and a separate bedroom with a high-quality mattress (90 x 200cm) for a third person. Plenty of bed linen and towels are provided and the wireless Internet connection can be used free of charge.
The owner lives nearby and is happy to assist with any queries. As a little extra, a bottle of wine is provided as a welcome gift.
The famous opera is only about 500 metres from your holiday apartment (about an 8-minute walk). Within a radius of 100 metres, in the 7th district, you can find cafés, bars, pubs and restaurants, including the popular New York Café. Right at the end of your street (200m) there is a tram stop (for lines 4-6) with 24-hour transport connections to the many sights and attractions around the Hungarian capital.
