Welcome to "Gammelstua" at Myrvang farm in Sollia.

"Gammelstua" is an outbuilding on Myrvang farm in Sollia. The log house was built in 1920, but was renovated later. The cottage is comfortably furnished and has enough space for the family.

The cottage has a great location on the spacious farm. Here you can enjoy long vacation days outside with fun and games. The farmhouse offers a beautiful view of the wonderful surroundings, which creates an unforgettable setting for your vacation.

On the other side of the road is the Sollia church from 1738, you can take a guided tour or visit the church itself. The guided tour must be ordered in advance from the cottage owner. Sollia is located north in the municipality of Stor-Elvdal and in close proximity to many nature sports activities. The cottage is located on the "National Tourist Road Rondane". From here it is a short distance to the mountains ? nearby you will find the Rondane National Park with its famous 2000 meter peaks as well as the beautiful mountain areas along Friisveien or Venabygdsfjellet. If you prefer to take a trip north, you will find wonderful mountain scenery in Avdal Vestfjell. For anglers we recommend the lake Setningen. Here the owner of the house has a boat and can rent you up to five fishing nets. Please take care that there is a separate fishing license for net fishing. If you prefer fishing in rivers, the river Atnaelva is recommended. Here you can also go canoeing very well. Northwest of Sollia is the lake Atnasjøen. Stop at Sohlbergplassen to enjoy the view of Rondane. Here you will find the motif that Harald Sohlberg immortalized in his painting "Winter Night in Rondane". The house owner has many good suggestions for excursions, fishing trips and hikes in the mountains around Sollia, on request he can also accompany you.
