If the property is not left in clean conditions there will be a charge of £40.

Gorran Haven 15 km from St Austell: Picturesque little village consisting of fishermen's cottages nested around a secluded cove on the coastal path, ideal for walkers and lovers of nature. Just 5 minutes drive from the Lost Gardens of Heligan and 20 minutes drive from the Eden Project. Old, very beautiful annex "The Homestead", 2 storeys, semi-detached, built in 1830. 200 m from the sea, in a cul-de-sac. Parking. Shop, grocery, bar 400 m, bus stop 500 m, railway station "St Austell" 17 km. Golf course (9 hole) 12 km. Please note: car recommended.

    “Wir haben ein für uns zu zweit wunderbares gemütliches kleines Cottage vorgefunden. Es ist nett eingerichtet, mit vielen Antiquitäten. Menschen die keinen blick für altes interior haben ist es nicht zu empfehlen, alles notwendige ist vorhanden, vom Herd, einer engen dusche bis zur Waschmaschine und Wäschetrockner.”

    “Wir wurden von dem Vermieter Ehepaar nett empfangen, obwohl wir vor 15.00 Uhr im Ferienhaus angekommen sind. Die Ausstattung ist gut, alles, was man für eine Selbstversorgung benötigt, war vorhanden. Was uns nicht gefallen hat, ist die Maßgabe der Hinterlegung einer Kaution von 50 GBP, die sofort von der Vermieterin abverlangt wird mit dem Hinweis, dass sie z.B. für zerbrochene Gläser 1 GBP und für Tassen 2 GBP berechnen wird. Außerdem muss der Strom zusätzlich über eine Uhr bezahlt werden, ansonsten wäre das Haus stromlos. Wir sind der Auffassung, dass diese Kosten wohl mit der Unterkunftsmiete abgegolten sein sollten. Unsere Reise führte uns noch in zwei weitere Ferienwohnungen, dort wurden weder eine Kaution noch zusätzliche Kosten erhoben.”

    “Das Ferienhaus in Gorran Haven bietet Urlauber die Erholung suchen ein ideales zuhause auf Zeit.
    Die freundlichen Vermieter und die Örtlichkeit wiegen das etwas beschränkte Platzangebot doppelt auf. Auch wenn das Haus nicht viel Platz bietet, so gibt es doch alles was ein Ferienhaus benötigt.
    Der Wohnbereich hat zwei Sessel, einen Fernseher, einen DVD Player, einen Videorekorder und ein Kassetenradio.
    In der Küche gibt es alles was man zum Kochen benötigt.
    Das Bad ist sehr klein, hat aber für Englische Verhältnisse eine gut funktionierende Dusche.
    Super ist das Schlafzimmer, an die Ruhe muss man sich ersteinmal gewöhnen und den Blick aus dem Fenster vergisst man so schnell nicht.
    Wir würden jederzeit wieder an diesen Ort und in dieses haus zurückkehren.”
