Apartment in Aigues-Mortes with a shared pool

Charming holiday residence in the heart of the Camargue, on a large green area of 8,000 m². You will stay a few minutes' walk from the historic center, near the Vidourle canal. The complex consists of six groups of houses surrounded by gardens. In the medieval fortress of Aigues-Mortes is a charming village with numerous romantic streets. In the lively city center you will find various shops, restaurants and bars. Incidentally, there is a market here on Sunday and Wednesday. The area around Aigues-Mortes, the Petite Camargue, is characterized by wet meadows and saltwater lakes. Sea salt extraction plays a major role in this. The salt fields with the pink colorful water are a feast for the eyes. In the summer you can even participate in the Sand.

Activities in the area: walking across the fully preserved city walls and by the old town of Aigues-Mortes, which is very worthwhile. Or you can discover the typical landscapes of the Camargue, for example during a ride along the beach. Various stables in the nearby area offer journeys for every level. Also a visit to a wine cellar is worth it; The Camargue, which belongs to the Bouches-du-Rhône region, produces the Vin des Sables de Camargue, the wine growing in the sand - Aigues-Mortes is considered the capital of this drink
