A marina, children's theme parks and the endless shopping opportunities of the popular tourist destination provide additional entertainment throughout the day. Many bars, restaurants and clubs await the night owls.

Activities nearby: Visit the zoo at Guia. Not far from there is the huge Algarve shopping center. The lagoon of Lagoa dos Salgados is a well-known area for numerous bird species, you can visit the area on your own or book a private tour with a guide. History buffs should make their way to Paderne (about twelve kilometers north of Albufeira). There you can visit the ruins of a Moorish fortress and at the same time enjoy a beautiful panoramic view over the valley of the river Quarteira. A beautiful walking path leads through the valley of the Ribeira de Quarteira river, which rises in Alte and flows into the Atlantic Ocean west of Vilamoura
