Holiday House in Seillans with Communal Parking

You who are in search of authenticity, lovers of Provence, its villages with the charm of yesteryear, its art workshops and its preserved Nature, come and take a break at L'Estello.Residing in Bordeaux, our steps guided us, one day in July 2019, to Seillans, one of the 9 perched villages of the Var. We then fell in love with this little house, all dressed in stone, located at the top of the village. Former dependency of the feudal castle, then weaving workshop in the early 1900s, l'Estello became ours in June 2020.After two years of renovation, the 50m2 little house (housing a living space on the ground floor and the bedroom on the mezzanine) is finally ready to welcome our guests, our friends and our family. We were keen to decorate it with objects found everywhere in flea markets and to preserve the soul of this place, steeped in history.Seillans, it is true, has a very rich historical, cultural and architectural heritage. It is labeled one of the "most beautiful villages in France". It is a medieval village with Porte Sarrasine, Feudal Castle, 12th century church, cobbled streets, fountains that can be found around squares shaded by century-old plane trees and artists' studios.Seillans is a lively village throughout the year with concerts, art exhibitions, festivals (of olives, music, flowers), the potters' market on August 15, Christmas entertainment... Guided tours of the village are also organized in all seasonsThe place will really charm you! Come and recharge your batteries, head in the stars to write, with us, a few pages of your history!

Village house, in an environment with pedestrian and cobbled streets. Near the church and next to the village castle. A communal terrace adjoining the bedroom wall is being developed and planted. It will be ready in April 2023 and will welcome you for meals or for relaxing.

Reception conditions Weekly rental: From Saturday 4 p.m. to the following Saturday 10 a.m. at the latest. If you cannot respect the arrival time, please let us know so that we can inform the concierge. A box with a set of keys is available next to the front door. We will give you the code to release the bunch of keys and allow you to enter the house at a later time. The person from the concierge will then come to take stock of the situation with you the morning after your arrival.Non smoking accommodation. House for 2 people only. This number should not be exceeded.Pets not allowed, parties not allowed. Quiet required.Tourist taxA tourist tax is levied for each person accommodated and according to the number of nights. It amounts to 4%, plus 10% of the additional tax instituted for the benefit of the Var Departmental Council. It is to be collected directly with the rent (and not on site).L'Estello is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. The house is located at the very top of the village, next to the Castle, along the cobbled streets. Two free car parks are nearby (50m and 150m from the house). A wide paved alley, with stairs, guarded by a charming iron dragon, provides access to the village castle and our house.
