Country cottage by Lake Åsunden with stunning views and private jetty

This detached wooden house in Alhammar, Tvärred is located in the immediate vicinity (50 m) of Lake Åsunden with stunning lake views. Beautiful location without traffic. Private jetty with swimming and fishing facilities. Proximity to nice bathing area with sandy beach and jetty. Close to walking paths, forest and nice hiking trails.

The house is 60 m² and consists of: a living room with fireplace. Newly installed (2019) air source heat pump for both heating and cooling. Flat screen TV with games console (PS3) and music system (via mobile phone). There is a 3-seater sofa, a 2-seater sofa bed, a table and an armchair. Adjacent to the living room is a new (2019) fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, SodaStream, and a dining table with seating for 6 people. An adjoining bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. A large bedroom with new (2023) double bed and wardrobes. A smaller bedroom with 2 new (2023) single beds and a wardrobe. Adjacent to the entrance of the house you enter a glazed patio with a sofa, table and relaxing chairs.

Newly built (2021) terrace/patio at the back of the house, where you can enjoy the evening sun or sit in the shade during the day. The terrace is equipped with two chairs and a table. Newly built (2020) Terrace/patio equipped with new outdoor furniture (2023), parasol and sun loungers. The plot adjoins a large garden and green areas with the possibility of outdoor activities, and is ideal for children and dogs. On the plot there is also a shed/storage room with accessories. A large barbecue with accessories is at the tenant's disposal during the stay. A robotic lawn mower (Automower) takes care of the lawn. New charging box from Zaptec (2023) for charging electric cars. Charging power 11kW (Price per charge taken on site).

The holiday home is the last house on the Ekvägen, (GPS address, Alhammar 51, 523 94 Tvärred) and the public road ends there. Your own rowing boat with oars and accessories (fishing gear) and life jackets for adults and children are available in connection with your stay. (Electric motor for the rowing boat can be rented for 50 Euro per week, paid on site). Bicycles (2 adults + 2 children) are also available for hire during your stay. In addition, there are highchairs and toys in the holiday home.

The summer house is located in an area with a total of 60 houses. Distance to the lake Åsunden is about 50 m. from the summer house. Public child-friendly beach with sandy beach and jetty is about 500 m north of the house. It is possible to walk or drive to the beach. Distance to the nearest shop (ICA Nära) is 7.7 km, (travel time about 12 minutes) is in Hulu, Tvärred. Ulricehamn is the nearest town which is 19 km, (travel time about 25 minutes) from the holiday home. Here is the centre with restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarkets, liquor store, activities, etc. Hiking trails and nice walking paths are close to the area. The lookout point Rude kulle with a nice view of Åsunden and a visit to the waffle cottage at Gärsbo mill, are popular excursions.The summer house is located in an area with a total of 60 houses.     “Sehr freundlicher Kontakt, jedoch für mehr als 3 Personen im Herbst viel zu eng. Das mit dem Boot/Motorboot müsste auf der Homepage angepasst werden... Positiv: Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich. Negativ: Das Haus wird für 6 Personen ausgeschrieben. Dies mag im Sommer oder für ein Wochenende gehen, nicht aber im Herbst und für 2 Wochen. Wir waren zu fünft. Und wurden alle in der Wohnung untergebracht, was viel zu eng war. Es hatten nur 3 Personen die Möglichkeit, ihren Koffer auszupacken (wenig Regale, die noch leer sind) und für die anderen Koffer war auch kein, sie Platz um sie irgendwo liegen zu lassen.
    Auf der Seite ist irgendwo auch angegeben, dass man ein Motorboot dazu mieten könne. Auch hat es ein Foto von einem Motorboot. Es ist aber lediglich ein kleines Boot mit Elektromotor... Restaurant: Räven och Rönnbären, Storgatan, Dalsjöfors - Kleines Restaurant mit supernetter Bedienung und guter Auswahl der Menues Ausflüge: Knalleland, Boras - Ideal zum Shoppen bei Schlechtwetter...”

    “Positiv: Wunderbares, perfekt ausgestattetes Ferienhaus direkt am See, Fahrräder und Ruderboot zur Mitbenutzung. Der Vermieter war äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.”
