It is situated inside a countryside hamlet in an isolated valley in the south-east of Sardinia.
It has just been built according to the ecological design principles, it is 10 minutes by car far from the most enchanting beaches of the island and near the regional park. Three houses are available for renting with 4 or 8 accommodations each.
The building and the systems are made according the ecological design principles: roofs and wooden-beam floors, ecological varnishes, loose stone foundation anti-radon, main walls, electrical automatic cut-on, natural terracotta-tiled floors, lattice mattresses, copper heating at skirting board level.
Large liveable open air spaces (gazebo and veranda) allow you to live at the open air more than 6 months a year, having available fruit in season and 10,000 square metres of Mediterranean vegetation. In this space the teenagers can have fun, the babies can play supervised in the courtyard.
There is also wireless Internet.

Holiday House Carrubo in Castiadas

Abba Arrubbia is located in the territory of Castiadas, in a quiet valley, open to the sea of ​​Sardinia south-east, near a regional park.

The structure and the systems are made according bio architectural principles: roofs and wooden floors, and breathable ventilated roofs, ecological varnishes, loose stone foundation anti-radon, load-bearing walls, electrical circuit breakers, natural terracotta floors, latex mattresses, copper heating baseboard. The energy needs, in accordance with environmental sustainability, is provided by photovoltaic and solar panels and you can recharge electric cars. The water is potable and is extracted from a well dug in the granite. The bio-architecture techniques with which the structure is built in summer days allow a much lower temperature than the outside and at night the fresh air of the countryside allows an excellent rest. The structure is inserted in the circuit 'Nature, beauty and Tourism' organized by Legambiente.
