The enchanting nature is famous for its beauty, which you can experience on long refreshing hiking or biking tours. Good fishing opportunities are offered by the coast, the sea and the many put-and-take lakes in the area. Perhaps take a cruise on one of the historic wooden boats in the archipelago of South Funen, which takes about 2-6 hours. Also visit the beautiful Valdemar Castle on the island of Tåsinge, or admire the picturesque houses, marketplaces and cobblestone-paved streets of the town of Rudkøbing.
