Holiday House in Älvsbyn with Garden and Barbecue

Villa Gården was completely renovated in April 2016. All the rooms have been newly painted or have new wallpaper. The 134m² house was also completely newly furnished. The ground floor has a kitchen, fully-equipped with a microwave, stove and oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, mixer, kettle and various small appliances. The big dining table in the dining space in front of the kitchen can seat up to eight people. The living room provides a suite, a coffee table, a new flatscreen TV including German channels, a DVD player and a stereo system. There are a total of four bedrooms, two each with a double bed (180 x 200cm), the third with a bunk bed (90 x 200cm) and the fourth with a comfortable sofa bed (140 x 200cm when pulled out). The house has a shower room with a WC and an additional guest WC, as we, as a separate shower in the sauna area. Free wireless Internet access is available (VDSL maximum 100 m/bit).

The site measures 51m², with lawn in front of and behind the house and plenty of space for children to play. There is also a lovely grill area in the garden with a campfire area, where you can relax after an interesting day. A big veranda with garden furniture rounds off the outdoor area. There is parking space for two to three cars in front of the house and another parking space in the garage right next to the house.

There is a little playground only about 300 metres from the house. It is five kilometres to Storforsen, Sweden’s largest rapids, where you can find many grill areas and lovely spots to while away the time. The River Piteäly with a little sandy beach, where you can swim, as well as a volleyball court and a grill hut is a five-minute walk away. It is also only a five-minute walk to Vidsel, where you can do shopping (Tempo supermarket). It is 45 minutes to the ski piste with a lift and to cross-country skiing trails, of which there are more all around Vidsel. The Baltic Sea beach is 60 minutes away. The house is a good hour’s drive from Luleå airport. There are eight national parks in the area, ideal for hiking and day trips. You can go fishing in the River Piteäly, as well as various lakes nearby (also guided tours). You can go shopping in the three big towns of Luleå, Piteå and Boden. In winter you can hire a snowmobile or go on a guided tour. The owner can also arrange a husky-drawn sled ride if you are interested.

    “Ein stimmiges Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis und sehr zuvorkommende Vermieter. Positiv: Das Feriendomizil hat fünf erwachsenen Personen ausreichend Platz geboten und war für den Aufenthalt während einer Woche ideal eingerichtet und gelegen. Die Umgebung des Hauses lädt zum Spazieren ein, ein Supermarkt für den täglichen Bedarf ist fussläufig erreichbar und die weitere Umgebung eine Erkundung wert. Positiv ist auch das kostenlose WLan. Negativ: -”

    “Das Ferienhaus ist ein Wohnhaus, das Ende der 60er Jahre erbaut wurde. Der Charme dieser Zeit ist im ganzen Haus spürbar und trägt zur Gemütlichkeit des Hauses bei. Die alten original Fensterbeschläge, die Gästetoilette, die Sauna, die Holzverkleidung der Räume und die Einbaumöbel gehören zu den liebevollen Details des Hauses und haben uns in die Zeit Ursprungs des Hauses versetzt.

    Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und fanden vor allem die Veranda im Grünen besonders schön. Ein ganz besonderer Dank geht an die Vermieter, die uns mit ihren tollen Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung wertvolle Hinweise gegeben haben. Für unsere beiden Töchter 14 und 16 Jahre waren die schnelle Internetverbindung (Wi-Fi) im Haus wichtig. Es war ein erholsamer und entspannter Sommerurlaub.”
