Old natural stone house on three floors
The house is in the very small village La Basse Maza in a little holiday park with a total of six houses, in the midst of the mountains.
The entrance is on the first floor, where there is the living room with a fireplace and a smart TV, a dining corner and an open kitchen, equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave and induction hob. There are stairs from the living room up to the sleeping gallery with two single beds (90 x 200cm). There are also stairs down from the living room to the lower floor with two bedrooms and the bathroom. One bedroom is furnished with two hotel beds (80 x 200cm), while the small bedroom has one single bed (80 x 200cm) and a travel cot. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, a washbasin and a toilet.
The house has a herb bed in the garden with e.g. rosemary, which you are welcome to help yourselves to. There are various terraces by the house, so you can always find a spot in the shade or in the sun. Garden furniture and sun loungers are provided. There is also a shared garden with a grill, boules alley, a variety of seating, a children’s playground with a swing, slide and sandpit.
There is a washing machine in a separate communal room, for shared use free of charge with four other houses. The house has electric heating and is tastefully furnished, ensuring a high standard of comfort. The furniture, beds and whole interior décor are good quality. There is an information folder in the house about the surroundings, with various hiking routes. A maximum of one pet (on request) is allowed.
The house lies at an altitude of about 500 metres amidst nature. The nearest locality for shopping is about 8km away. The nature reserve was named the Parc Naturel Regional des Monts d’Ardeche some years ago and offers beautiful views and hiking possibilities. Nature and peace and quiet are reign supreme here.
