Can Teco is a new built country house located close to Manacor and Portocristo in the east of Mallorca. The house is situated on a plot of 17.579 m2 with a living area of 345 m2.

This charming house is tastefully decorated and with a lot of attention to detail. Can Teco combines to perfection modern design with traditional materials. When you enter into the house we find a nice open entrance that leads to the living room with large windows that allows a lot of light. It is equipped with sofas, TV and offers direct access to the terrace.

From the living room on the right side we have access to a modern kitchen, fully equipped with all the comforts and tools of the today’s kitchens in order to cook without any problems and has also a fireplace itself. The first floor has also a bathroom with a shower and from where we can access to the terrace / pool.

The upstairs at the entrance of the house leads to the second floor which is distributed in 3 double bedrooms (two with double beds and one with twin beds). It includes also 3 bathrooms, all of them with bath.

The house offers central heating, air conditioning (cold) in the living room, portable fans and Wi-Fi connection.



Exterior

The exterior of the property has a large covered terrace from where you have spectacular views to the sea in a long distance and to the Majorcan nature. The terrace has a table with chairs to enjoy your culinary delights outdoors, a cistern and a barbecue. On the right side of the garden there is a nice swimming pool (of 7m x 5m with a deep of 1.40m until 1.80m) with several sun-loungers to relax and sunbathe.

The second floor has also two terraces, one of them with a chill-out area with sofas where you can relax with your favorite book and enjoy a beautiful view to the sea and countryside.

The environment of this finca is surrounded by the typical Mediterranean vegetation such as almond, carob, orange trees, and palm trees creating a unique and quiet place.

The location of the extensive property is absolutely peaceful and idyllic and offers spectacular views to the sea in a long distance. There is no better place to experience and enjoy a deep sense of peace and tranquility.



Situation

Can Teco is situated in a very quiet area on the outskirts of Portocristo, away from all the hectic and 58, 8 km away from the airport. Within 5 km you can reach Portocristo with a variety of supermarkets, restaurants, bars and shops. In this area there are numerous sports possibilities, such as horseback riding, golf or water sports. The nearest golf course is the “Pula Golf” in Son Servera and is located at 11,2 kilometers.

The surrounding mountains offer many opportunities for hikers and nature lovers to discover the diverse landscape of Mallorca by foot. The excursion to the “Castle of Punta de n’Amer” is well worth a visit for its circular route around the coast, enjoying this excellent lookout from the east coast. It is a protected natural area, where you can find a defensive tower from the late XVII century, which served as a lookout point between neighboring towers. From the tower you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the bay of Cala Millor and Sa Coma.

Every Monday there is a weekly market in Manacor, where you can buy regional specialties. The weekly market in Porto Cristo takes place every Sunday morning on the Paseo de la Sirena. It is a market of natural and local products. It is highly recommended for its quality and for the beautiful views to the harbor, the beach and the white caves that can be seen from the promenade. Highly recommended is a visit to the Caves of Drach in Porto Cristo, only 6.9 km from the house, or the caves of Hams after 3.7 km.

The municipality of Manacor and Porto Cristo has, as peculiar values, a coastal landscape with extreme and unalterable beauty and a great diversity of flora and fauna. It is about natural and virgin coves, fine sand and rocks, clear, crystalline water, surrounded by nature. Some of them are Cala Moreya Cala, Cala Morlanda, Caló d’en Rafalino, Cala Anguilla, Cala Mendia, s’Estany d’en Mas, Calas de Mallorca and Cala Murada, all of them of great natural beauty. Other examples include Cala Cala Petita and Varques, accessible only on foot on excursion of about half an hour.

    “Die Villa ist traumhaft.

    Lage: Das Haus liegt 5 Auto-Minuten von Manacor entfernt. Einkaufen ist also um die Ecke :-) Über eine kleine Feldstraße gelangt man zur Finca. Das automatische Tor öffnet sich per Fernbedienung. Von dort an fährt man hoch zum Anwesen.

    Ausstattung: Das Haus besitzt 4 Bäder (eins ist direkt am Pool) und 3 Schlafzimmer. Es ist wirklich groß und die Lage ist schön. Das Grundstück ist komplett umzäunt. Es gibt auch keine Nachbarhäuser, welche in das Grundstück einsehen können.

    Der Pool ist toll, genau wie wir es und vorgestellt haben. Neben den Hängematten gibt es auch eine Ecke mit Sonnenliegen. Das Rauschen der Palmen ist ein Genuss. Das Pool kann nachts beleuchtet werden, wir mussten allerdings etwas länger suchen, um die Beleuchtung zu finden.

    Das ganze Haus war sehr sauber, es gibt SAT und schnelles WLAN. Passend zum Haus steht ein Weber Grill sowie viele Sitz und Liegemöglichkeiten zur Verfügung.

    Klima: Eine kräftige Klimaanlage gibt es im Erdgeschoss. Die haben wir selten genutzt, da wir tagsüber unterwegs oder am Pool waren. Abends hat es gereicht das Haus durch Öffnen der Türen und Fenster zu kühlen.

    In den Schlafzimmern gibt es keine Klimaanlage und auch keine Ventilatoren. In warmen Nächten weht zwar bei geöffneten Fenstern, ein angenehmer Wind. Wir hatten allerdings auch 2 windstille Nächte. Hier hätte ich bei dem Preis Deckenventilatorn erwartet.

    Schlüssel & Zustand: Die Schlüsselübergabe verlief problemlos. Das Haus und Grundstück wirkte auf uns liebevoll und sehr gepflegt. Am Tag der Anreise fanden wir Wein, Obst und eine lecker schmeckenden, spanische Backspezialität in der Küche vor.

    Ruhe / Nächte: Am Tag ist es gerade auf der Pool-Seite traumhaft ruhig, weit weg von Stress und Hektik. In der Nacht hörten wir in der Ferne öfter mal Hunde bellen. Ohne offene Fenster konnten wir (Sommernächten) aber nicht schlafen.

    Fazit: Liebevoll eingerichtete private Villa mit viel Platz, ruhiger Lage, einem schönen Poolbereich und Blick aufs Meer. Verbesserungspotential wären Deckenventilatoren in den Schlafzimmern und ein Safe. Ansonsten hat die Finca all unsere Erwartungen absolut erfüllt. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

    PS: Uns hat auch kein unangekündigtes Personal gestört. Poolwartung, Handtuch und Bettwäsche-Service kommen nur aller 7 Tage. Für mich erhält die Finca 4,6 Punkte und damit (gerundet 5). 4 Sterne wären zu wenig.”

    “Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt in dem Haus. Es ist sehr geräumig und modern eingerichtet. Alles ist wie im Text beschrieben und wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Es war sauber und ordentlich. Jedes der drei Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Badezimmer, hier kommt man sich nicht in die Quere. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet (inkl. Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Spülmaschine, etc.). Der Außenbereich eignet sich hervorragend zum Relaxen - der Pool, die großzügige Terrasse mit Grill und die Loggia im Obergeschoss sind hierbei besonders hervorzuheben. Die Umgebung ist sehr ländlich und ruhig. Porto Cristo und Manacor mit diversen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind aber nicht weit entfernt. Das Haus ist wirklich nur zu empfehlen.”

    “Das Haus ist genial. Es liegt traumhaft auf einem ca. 17.000 m2 großem Grundstück (sehr ruhig) zwischen Manacor und Porto Christo. Es bietet einen tollen Meerblick, befindet sich in einem tollen Zustand (sehr sauber) und war mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Die Eigentümer haben es mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Des weiteren ist hervorzuheben, dass der Kühlschrank bei unserer Ankunft mit Salat, Wasser, Weißwein und Bier gefüllt war. Auf dem Tisch stand frisches Obst und Gemüse sowie leckere Pasteten.

    Der Pool wird von einem netten Herren 1-2 mal die Woche gereinigt. Wir waren für 8 Nächte in dieser Traumfinca mit 6 Personen und alle waren begeistert! Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.”
