The vacation home Manoir Le Saule is located in the small village of Ucimont in the southern Ardennes. We are here in the famous valley Vallée de la Semois, about 10 km north of Bouillon. The vacation home is a former hotel with a large garden and a beautiful terrace and a heated swimming pool. Behind the house is the 2500 m² garden with seating, barbecue and playground equipment. From here you have a wide view over the surrounding hills and countryside. The region is beautiful and pleasantly quiet. The meanders of the Semois River have carved the area into peninsula-like areas. Ucimont was once referred to by its inhabitants as Tombeau du Géant, meaning Tomb of the Giant. The region was once the only tobacco growing area in Belgium, and still today numerous old tobacco sheds bear witness to that time. A walk through this rugged nature will make you forget the hustle and bustle of densely populated cities. You should definitely visit the convivial town of Bouillon, where there are still some reminders of the famous Belgian crusader Godfried van Bouillon. In the town there is a huge castle with foundations dating back to the year 1000 and with various findings from crusader days, distributed in several museums. In your spacious vacation accommodation there is a fitness and wellness room, and in one of the 14 bedrooms there is a waterbed for two people. The size of the accommodation makes the vacation home Manoir Le Saule excellent for family celebrations. The swimming pool in the garden can be used from May 1 to September 30. This house is mainly intended for family groups. However, unrelated groups can be accepted with the agreement of the owner and a possible increase in the deposit.
