Lovely vacation home on Ivö, within walking distance of a child-friendly beach and good fishing opportunities. There is a heated hot tub for 8 people, for rent on site from the owner (you must bring your own wood). The house has an energy-saving heat pump that functions as air conditioning in summer. There is a computer in the annex.
Ivo is an island in the largest lake in Skåne, Lake Ivösjön. The island has beautiful footpaths, child-friendly bathing spots and good fishing opportunities. The Blekinge archipelago, Glasriket, Österlen and Kristinastad are nearby. You can reach the island by ferry. Enjoy the tranquillity and unspoiled nature on the island, where you will encounter wild animals, berries and edible mushrooms. You can simply walk from the vacation home to the sandy beach, which is flat and soft. You can fish for perch in the harbor and there is a barbecue area in Ivöklack. You can also play mini golf and hire a sauna at Ivö Camping. Kristianstad offers good shopping and a wide selection of restaurants. Visit Bäckaskog Castle nearby. 11 km to the mountain Vångabacken, which offers three different slopes in winter and where there is a snow cannon. In summer you can go mountain biking on the 7 slopes.
