The locality offers a wide range of shops, souvenir shops, restaurants and discos, as well as banks, doctors and car rental services. The nearest bar is just 100 metres away and the nearest supermarket is 50 metres away. A bus runs into the town of Corfu five times a day, as well as to the seaside resorts of Sidari and Kasiopi.
