The house in a quiet location is situated about 300 metres from the sandy beach that is never overcrowded. It is on the edge of a nature reserve, on a kind of cul-de-sac at the end of the village, so you needn’t worry about traffic noise. There are just herds of sheep and goats that are driven past the house almost every morning, with little bells around their necks, the only sound interrupting the silence. The baker comes directly to the house every morning, while a fruit and vegetable seller passes by every two days.Cosy holiday house in a charmingly planted garden with a pool, in a quiet location and near the sandy beach. The holiday home was built in 2009 and can accommodate up to nine people. Four separate bedrooms give all guests enough space and opportunities to retreat. While there is a king-size bed (1.60 m wide) in each of the first two bedrooms, there are two single beds in the third bedroom. The fourth bedroom also has two single beds, but it is possible to put an extra bed in the room. The modern living room invites you to linger with a satellite TV. The kitchen is also equipped with all important kitchen utensils. In addition to a fridge with a freezer compartment, you will also find a microwave, a kettle and a toaster. The two bathrooms, each with a shower, a hairdryer and a toilet, complete the offer. All rooms have been newly furnished in 2015, so that nothing should be missing. If you still have one or the other wish, the landlords are happy to fulfill them. The landlords look forward to welcoming you to their holiday home. Here are our house rules The stay of strangers who are not among the registered persons may only enter the property after consultation with the landlord. Due to the size of our pool, the use of inflatable objects is prohibited , such as air mattresses, etc., with the exception of swimming aids, are not permitted. Ball games only after consultation with the landlord. Jumping from the edge of the pool is not permitted, nor is "riding games" or football within the entire facility. Persons under the age of 16 are not permitted to stay in the pool kitchen. Outdoor grilling must be registered. After use: cleaning of the barbecue area. Marble and granite tables outside, terrace, balcony are not to be moved or slipped without the help of the landlord. Bed linen will be deducted by the staff. For reasons of hygiene, it is forbidden to remove the protective covers from the mattresses and pillows. Failure to comply will result in costs, new mattresses, pillows being charged. Hand towels, bath towels, duvets or pillows that are part of the equipment may not be used at the pool or on the beach. Entering the apartments with dripping wet swimwear is not permitted, nor is sitting with Damp clothing on chairs, upholstery, etc. Toilet paper or other hygiene items, especially wet wipes, are not to be disposed of in the toilet. Garbage, etc., is to be disposed of in the garbage containers set up throughout the village. There are no rubbish bins in the house. Children under the age of 14 are not allowed to remain unsupervised in the apartments with other children who do not belong to the family. We would like to point out once again that if you want to bring pets with you, you must contact us before making a booking ask whether it is even possible at your desired time. We will never allow two dogs at the same time.










Two terraces, one in front of the house and the other behind, invite you to linger and enjoy. The entire property is a green oasis on the edge of a WWF nature reserve. The outdoor area offers lawn, palm trees, a herb garden, citrus and other fruit trees, from which you can help yourself, depending on the ripeness. The pool and "platia" are in the center of the complex. Since all bedrooms face away from the interior of the outdoor complex, they experience constant tranquility. The joint barbecue evenings, sometimes with live music, are very popular with the guests, as well as the extensive range of excursions and leisure activities offered by the landlords on land and on water. For example, they drive their minibus to historical sights. They also offer various boat tours to the islands, as well as diving and snorkeling trips, as well as water skiing for those who can and those who want to try it. All this and much more in a pleasant family atmosphere. Greece is also well suited for wintering. In spring and autumn there are hikes in the lowlands and in the nearby mountains, possibly with overnight stays in huts. The monasteries of Meteora, Vikos Gorge, the valley and the springs of Gliki are among others on the landlord's excursion program. Boat tours are also possible with the landlords. From mid-April they will drive you to the Abrakic Gulf where encounters with dolphins are guaranteed. You can also visit Paxos and Levkada as well as beautiful coastal towns with them. Sailing enthusiasts will also get their money's worth here. A 12m Bavaria or a nine meter Atlas Trading, with or without a skipper, can be chartered from them. Skipper training and water skiing is also possible. A dinghy is available for beginners. Divers will also find interesting offers here. Diving equipment, compressor and boat are already available on site. Wreck diving is offered as well as guided diving trips. Anyone who likes to move around on two wheels is also in the right place here. Discover the untouched nature, where there is hardly any traffic, on guided bike tours, whether flat, mountainous or extreme. Tools and repair cellar are available on site. Group trips are very welcome.



The landlords Heidi and Uwe grew up in Germany and didn't want to jump in at the deep end like some other emigrants did. You love Greece and your landlord Uwe learned the language very well and then built this charming complex with his own saved funds. Now that they speak the language, they can show their guests a Greece away from the 'tourist stalls'. They can cater to all their needs and offer them more than just vacations. That's probably why they received the 'Landlord of the Year' award in 2012. But they don't rest on their laurels, but are constantly looking for new attractions, on land, on water and also under water, so that even regular guests who have already visited the facility more often will not get bored. Although they only built two of the three houses a few years ago, innovations are constantly being made in the house and in the garden so that you feel comfortable as a guest with them. This year they installed another pool heater. They can offer you water temperatures of more than 30'C in spring and late autumn. They chose this property, or rather built it right here, because they have been active in Greece for more than 30 years. Greece from the border with Turkey to the Peloponnese, from the Albanian border to Attikis and almost all of the islands. Here is the real Greece. Here it often seems that the clock stopped 30 years ago. No coast lined with hotels, so you can still see the coast from the Albanian border down to Messolongi like old Odysseus. This is exactly why the landlords live here.



There are many trip and recreational possibilities, on land and on water, e.g. a minibus trip to places of historical interest. There are also various boat tours to the islands, as well as diving and snorkeling excursions or waterskiing, for those who would like to give it a try. Greece is also suitable for winter stays. The owners can organize various trips or sports activities for you. In spring and autumn there are hikes into the plains, as well as the nearby mountains, in some cases with overnight stays in a hut. The monasteries at Meteora, the Vikos canyen, the valley and the fountains at Gliki are all on the owners’ trip Programme, or you can go on boat tours. From mid-April you can visit a gulf where encounters with dolphins are guaranteed, or Paxos, Levkada and beautiful coastal towns. Sailing enthusiasts will enjoy it here. You can dive to shipwrecks and go on guided diving excursions. You can go on guided cycle tours, whether on the flat or in the mountains, or into pristine nature with hardly any car traffic.


Even if the entire coast of Eiperos is uniquely beautiful, Ammoudia is something very special. This great bay, the river that flows into the sea, the people with their friendly, helpful nature, who don't have dollar signs in their eyes when they greet you and do it again tomorrow and the day after. If you go through the village twice, you will be addressed in a friendly manner. A lot of people here speak German, which makes it easy for vacationers who don't like to communicate in foreign languages to get by here. The small fishing village is situated at the mouth of the Acheron River. Small taverns line the banks of the river, where you can enjoy Greek and international cuisine. The fine sandy beach invites you to swim, whereby the sea here, due to the backwater of the river, is crystal clear and hardly salty, which not only the children are happy about. The connection to Corfu Preveza and even the highway to Thessaloniki offer the landlords and their guests a quick arrival. The town center on the Acheron River can be reached in just a few minutes on foot. Here you will find taverns with Greek and international cuisine, as well as supermarkets. For guests arriving by car there are many other beaches to explore nearby. Travelers arriving by plane would provide rental companies with their own cars. You have various options to reach the accommodation. By plane to Corfu, then by ferry (approx. 60min) to Igoumenitsa, where the landlords will welcome you at the port or by plane to Preveza, where the landlords will welcome you directly at the airport. They also offer a pick-up service to and from Thessaloniki, as well as a rental car service. In late autumn or early summer there are rarely flights to Corfu or Preveza, but you can get flights to Thessaloniki quite cheaply, so that it is often even cheaper to travel from there by rental car. Of course, the landlords will also pick you up in Thessaloniki at cost price. Travel time from Thessaloniki by car two hours and 50 minutes. Or by car to Venice, Ancona or Bari, then by ferry to Igoumenitsa. From there it is only 50 km to Ammoudia. On request, the landlords can also organize their arrival and departure from here (taxi, flight, train, ferry and rental car).
