An island dream in blue and white, in the traditional style of the coast. Here can enjoy Rügen especially relaxed. The Port of Altefähr with its unique view over the Sound and the historic old town of Stralsund is just a short stroll away. When the setting sun water and steeples immersed in a golden light, you will feel enchanted itself. the view of the church towers and the impressive Rügenbrücke can be enjoy from the beach. If you do not even have to cook feel like, you can have it go well here in the various restaurants or fish snacks.
The waters off Altefähr are well suited for sailing and surfing - try it but once out! Right in town there is the opportunity to book a number of training courses in the surf and sailing school. Just a few steps from the house village sun garden is also a ropes course with exciting activities for the whole family.
Even without a car is the Ferienhausdorf Sonnengarten to achieve: They make the journey already a highlight by taking in Stralsund harbor ferry the venerable White Fleet to Altefähr. From the jetty is only about 400 meters from the house. Also by train is Altefähr of Stralsund is just minutes away. The village has a bicycle rental and around Altefähr offers many well-marked bike paths, for example, the well-known bike path "Rügen round".
