Kastel-Luksic is the middle one of seven forts, the centre of which is Kastel-Viturie right by the sea. Here you can still find the charm of an old fishing village, which still provides everything holiday-makers need.

Your holiday home is a restored old fisherman’s house that is fully equipped and furnished. The ground floor has a living room-kitchen with ample space to dine and gather. There is also a toilet, shower and washbasin. The first floor consists of a living room/bedroom with a typical IKEA sofa bed and a day bed. There are also two wall cupboards and satellite TV. The second floor has a bedroom with a WC, bidet and washbasin, as well as a cupboard.

The big, roofed balcony (loggia, about 10m²) shelters you from the midday sun and invites you to relax in all weathers. It is ideal for having breakfast. The balcony railings are high enough for children. Within 100-200 metres there are plenty of public, free parking spaces. With a bit of luck, you can park practically in front of the door.

Within 5-10 minutes there are three supermarkets (Kosum, Tomy and Ribola). There are children’s playgrounds by the church and the beach. A little further away you can also find Lidl, Kaufland etc. Right nearby there are a pizzeria, a snack bar and Hotel Zarko with good regional cuisine. A fisherman sells his catches almost daily at the street corner. In the neighbouring village Kastel-Stari there is a large fish market every morning. Here you can also find colourful tourist restaurants. You can walk or cycle right along the sea, almost to Trogir or Split. It is about five minutes to the beach. Here there are also three cafes, one with a children’s playground. Outside of the swimming areas, you can go fishing without having to purchase permits (own consumption only). It is about a 20-metre walk from the house to Kastel-Viturie and then right or left to the beach with trees by the sea and a beach with medium-course pebbles. There are also two beautiful nature parks and a palm-lined avenue. You can find detailed information on the Internet. The region from Split to Trogir belongs to a European project for keeping the sea clean. All waste water is gathered and does not flow into the shore area.
