Dieses Landhaus liegt in der Gemeinde "Petra", im Herzen der Insel. Somit sind von hier aus fast alle Ziele auf Mallorca mit kurzen Wegen zu erreichen. Die Attraktion Petras aber ist der Franziskaner Mönch Junipero Serra, der in Petra unter dem bürgerlichen Namen Miguel Ferrer zur Welt kam.Sein Geburtshaus ist heute ein kleines Heimatmuseum. Anno 1747 setzte dieser von hier aus Kurs in die Neue Welt Richtung Mexiko. Ihm und seinen Ordensbrüdern wird die Gründung von insgesamt 24 Mission auf dem amerikanischen Kontinent zugeschrieben. Viele Städte mit spanisch klingendem Namen sind auf diesen Franziskaner-Mönch zurück zuführen, so z.B. " San Francisco" , "Santa Domingo" , "Los Angeles" , San Diego" und viele mehr.
Das Haus ist ausserhalb der Ortschaft gelegen, so dass Sie in absoluter Ruhe und fernab von jeglichem Trubel Ihren Urlaub geniessen können. Im Inneren des Hauses finden Sie in erster Linie einen mallorquinischen Einrichtungsstil vor. Besonders schön ist, dass z.B. in den Schlafzimmern alte, wunderschön restaurierte mallorquinische Antiquitäten verwendet wurden. In solchen Betten fühlt man sich schnell wie ein König.
