Spacious apartment in the historic center of Gravina in Puglia in the province of Bari, an ancient city rich in monuments such as Castello Svevo, palazzi and charming churches and with several archaeological sites. Do not miss the visit to the ancient aqueduct bridge that connects the two banks of the Gravina stream, rich in caves that served as dwellings. Fascinating is the underground Gravina, a spectacular network of tunnels, cellars and aqueducts in the rocks. In the most modern part of the city are all services, all kinds of stores, many restaurants where you can enjoy the culinary specialties and good wines of the area. Gravina in Puglia is located inside the Alta Murgia National Park, a nature reserve rich in flora and fauna, particularly interesting for birdwatchers. For bike lovers there are several routes. The apartment is also a good starting point to visit various neighboring towns such as Altamura (15 km) and Matera (30 km) with its famous Sassi, caves in the rocks.
