The tropical water park "Lalandia" is a good alternative on days when the weather is unfavourable for spending a day at the Baltic Sea. In the Knuthenborg Safari Park you can observe the lives of wild animals at close range from the safety of your own car. You can visit the Medieval Centre in Nykøbing, where you can see the workshops, the busy commercial street, the port and the ships anchored there as well as the tournaments of knights. You can stroll through the "Folkepark" in Nykøbing Falster and visit the small zoo and the wonderful playground.
