Ebeltoft, an old merchant town, was always closely connected to tourism. Ebeltoft is known for its picturesque old town with probably the world’s smallest town hall and the seaside resort with various leisure activities. Enjoy shopping on a cosy pedestrian zone. The museum ship “Fregatte Jylland”, with an eventful history as a warship has been beautifully restored in 1994 and is open for visitors. The region around Ebeltoft is especially popular among the anglers. Mols Bjerge with lively hill landscape in the hinterland of Ebeltoft lures holiday makers looking for trips and hiking. The amusement park Djurs Summerland, the sea aquarium Kattegatcentret in Grenå that offers plenty of extraordinary experiences, and the big city of Århus, around 45 minutes away is also worth visiting.
