Wonderful Holiday House in Skaloma with Beautiful Garden and Mountain View

Villa Almyriki -Skaloma Beautiful garden -Shaded terraces-8 people + 2 children free of charge 1h30 from Delfi, 2h from Olympia Our beautiful family home is located between 2 picturesque villages, Marathias and Skaloma which can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. You can eat there, go shopping (2 mini markets and a butcher) or have a drink. The house is a recent construction in the country style of the region, quiet and very pleasant. It is very functional, and decorated with great taste. It is 250m from a pretty pebble beach with little traffic, even in the middle of August and you can go there by foot. It has a magnificent view of the 1500 m2 garden, the sea and the Peloponnese mountains. The garden is large and very beautiful with a large variety of plants and trees typical of the region. The villa is 16 Km from Nafpaktos, Athens airport is 270 Km away, and the port of Patras is 45 Km away. Depending on the season, there is a wide variety of excursions to do, near the sea or in the hinterland and mountains. The hinterland is quite wild, favorite place for hikers and those who like to discover small traditional villages, isolated or sometimes abandoned. Do not miss ! The 167 square meters fully air-conditioned villa is surrounded by 1500 square meters of garden and trees. The property accommodates 8 people. However, 2 additional children can also be accommodated free of charge. You must accept and sign our terms and conditions that will be sent to you after booking. This is a 3-level house with all levels being on the ground. Entering from the main entrance, you can see the living room to the right, and in front of you the dining area; the kitchen area is to the left and also to the left there is a small mezzanine. Between the dining room and the mezzanine, you follow the stairs that lead to the mid-ground level; to the right there is a corridor. Once in the corridor there is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower to the right side. Continuing in the corridor, on to the left there is a bathroom with bathtub; opposite to it there is a double bedroom. Going past the bathroom there is an additional bedroom with two single beds. Returning to the stairs, we go further down to the basement apartment. Opposite there is a large window and a door that exits to the garden. On the left side there is a double bed and on the right there is a bathroom with shower. Further to the front and towards the right there is a library area and a single bed. We have the capacity for an additional folding bed (for children up to 12 years of age); and we can also add a baby cot. All levels have access to the garden. There is TV (two sets, one 42 inches with satellite reception, the other 26 inches receiving TV5, BBC, DW), a radio, a DVD Player and Wi-Fi with speed up to 14 mbps. The kitchen is fully equipped (sink, dishwasher, electric cooker 4 plates + oven, fridge-freezer, classic coffee maker, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery). There is a washing machine on the basement. You will have access to a portable BBQ in the veranda area. There is parking space for two or three cars. All linen will be provided upon arrival by the owner who will welcome you and show you the little details of the house. If the owner is absent, another person will ensure your arrival or departure.



Garden: 1500 square meters with trees The terrace has a large table and chairs for 8 people. The house also has 6 sunloungers and a second table with chairs for four people. There also has a portable charcoal grill. The land is fenced and thus perfectly suited to children and dogs. Behind the house there are 2-3 outdoor parking spaces



The House is accessible by an unserviced road (gravel on approx. 150 m). The balconies of the kitchen and the dining room are only equipped with a parapet of about 50 cm and a handrail. Parents are therefore asked to supervise their children. All levels of the House have access to the garden. The owner can make a folding bed and a crib available to the tenants



Skaloma, is a corner of dream where the blue marries with the green, little frequented by the tourists and ideal for those who love tranquility, relaxation and beautiful walks.,There are also other activities, such as, hiking, fishing, diving, mountain biking and watersports, if you bring your own equipment. Recommended tours: -Naupactus (Nafpaktos), beautiful city with its old center, its port and its medieval citadel - archaeological site of Delphi - Galaxidi small picturesque town with old traditional houses dating back to the 19th century where the city was an important maritime center - Trizonia islands (shuttle transport from the port of Glyfa-10mn) - Village of Monastiraki - Villages and trails in the fir trees and oaks, mountains of the hinterland, named Orini Nafpaktia: Ano Hora, Kato Hora, Ampelakiotissa ... Ideal place to make beautiful hiking or cycling - Beautiful beaches: Marathias, Sergoula, Monastiraki, Hiliadou ... and very good taverns in Marathias, Monastiraki or Naupactus. - Archaeological site of Olympia (2h) Mesolonghi Historic City: Pond and Museums -Banias inn on the banks of the river Evinos. (kayaking, rafting, ... depending on the season)Bridge Belley - Old bridges in the region -Climbing in Varasova A word of advice: A car is essential for getting around, if you really want to explore this beautiful area. HOW TO COME : If you have arrived at Araxos airport, or by boat to Patras, you will cross (by car) Rio-Antirio bridge, you will go to Naupactus (Nafpaktos) and then to Monastiraki and Marathias (direction Itea). You will turn right at the first entrance to Marathias. From Athens 2h15 drive to Naupactus by the national Athens-Patras and 15 min to Skaloma. In any case, contact the owner as soon as you are out of Naupactus. If you arrive from the Balcans, you will take the THESSALONIQUE ring road and you will go to IOANNINA. From there to ARTA, AGRINIO, ANTIRIO and finally NAUPAKTUS. You will take the Naupaktus ring road and you will go to ITEA. The village is 10-15min. from the Naupactus exit.
