This ancient Tuscan Villa is located in the heart of "Val di Chiana" Valley, near the thermal town of Chianciano Terme. It is surrounded by the vineyards and the olive groves of the typical Tuscan hills, in an area world-renowned for the production of Chianti wine.
The Villa is situated within the relaxing Tuscan countryside, atop of a knoll from which our Guests can enjoy a panoramic view of Chianciano Terme, the medieval towns of Montepulciano, Città della Pieve and Cortona till the Lake Chiusi and the hills surrounding Lake Trasimeno. The Villa is an ideal base for visiting the most fascinating spots of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio: Siena and Perugia, as well as Arezzo and Orvieto are all less than an hour drive from Gello Farmhouse and Chiusi railway station is accessible by car in 15 minutes. From there you can easily reach the city center of both Rome and Florence with a trip of approximately 1h30' by train.
We offer our Guests six private rooms with television, en suite bathroom and shower. The Villa can house up to 16 adults plus 5 children under 12 years old, for a maximum of 21 people.
The entire facility is available for our Guests: the wonderful breakfast and dining hall with its fully-equipped kitchen, the charming external porch and the 3000 squared meters enclosed garden surrounding the Villa. The 7x14 meters swimming pool is located within the garden and is equipped with a trampoline. The pool water level varies between 1.2 and 2.3 meters offering both kids and adults relaxing and funny times.
Around the Villa, our Guests can explore the 46 hectares property of Gello Farmhouse horse riding, mountain biking, hiking or simply going for a walk to enjoy the nature of the Tuscan countryside with its vineyards, olive groves and woods.
