Holiday apartment "L'Olivo" at "La Casa di Petra"

"La Casa di Petra" was once a rustico or farmhouse with stables and storage for farm equipment on the first floor.

The living area of 4 to 6 small rooms was above on the second floor.

This house was very carefully rebuilt using the original ”mattoni” bricks and ”coppi” as roofing material.

Approximately 20 meters southeast of the main house, a second, smaller structure was completely rebuild as

a holiday residence with the apartments "L’Oleandro", "L’Olivo" and "Il Gufo".

The apartments "L'Oleandro' and "L'Olivo" are situated side by side with a large mutual terrace (40qms)on the

ground-floor.

"Il Gufo" is situated in the souterrain with a portico (covered terrace), own lawn and a herb garden.

Beside is the entrance to the fitness room, equipped with Ergometerbike, Crosstrainer, Barbell bench, stomach muscle

training unit, Sat-TV and Library and to the washing-room with washing machine, dryer and ironing-board w/iron.

All the apartments are equipped with wire mesh at the windows and terrace doors.

All apartments are luxuriously furnished and equipped and are located in a quiet spot right above an extensive vineyard.

The large garden of about 6000 sq.metres consists of olive-,fig-, and fruit trees and is available to our guests

as well as the barbecue with a bench as well as the bench at the olive grove, beeing a favourite breakfast place,

with the eyecatching view to Ripatransone (480 m above sea-level) at day and night!.

Location description : The beaches at "Riviera delle Palme" can be reached in 15 minutes; the "Monti Sibillini" is under an hour’s drive.There are excellent restaurants in the area as well as good shopping.For those interested in golf, there is a golf course near Ancona and a smaller one near Massignano.In the west Le Marche is mountainous with the highest peak Mt. Vettore (2475m) in the Monti Sibillini. Two national parks and nature reserves, four regional parks comprise about 10% of the entire region and are protected areas. Olives, fruit, and various grains grow well here and the southern part is known for its viticulture. The coastal stretch of 180 km between Pesaro and San Benedettodel Tronto offers long sand and gravel beaches as well as rocky cliffs (Riviera del Conero near Ancona). Of particular interest in the Grottammare area is the ”Riviera delle Palme” with thousands of palm trees as well as the Cities Ancona, capital and largest harbor with ferry connections throughout the Adriatic Sea. San Benedetto del Tronto, largest fishing harbour. Pesaro, Ascoli Piceno, Macerata with their museums,opera-houses and picture galleries are well known beyond the borders. Loreto, well known papal pilgrimage town with black Madonna, is also to be mentioned.
