Das original Toggenburger Bauernhaus befindet sich ausserhalb des Dorfes Nesslau, an erhöhter, sonniger Lage mit Aussicht auf die Churfirsten und die toggenburger Hügellandschaft. Das Bauernhaus ist ein idealer Ort für Familien und naturverbundene Personen. Für Kinder besteht die Möglichkeit einige Bauernhoftiere kennenzulernen,aber auch auf Wunsch kleine Mithilfe möglich.Im Sommer sind die Tiere  überall auf Weiden verteilt und während der Hochalpzeit (  ca. Ende Juni bis mitte August )  sind alle Tiere  auf der Alp Sellamatt. Aber es besteht die Möglichkeit, sie zusammen mit den Bauernsleute zu besuchen.Selbstverständlich wärend deren  Arbeitszeit. Zugleich ist es ein idealer Ausgangsort für Ski- und Wanderferien. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich Bergbahnen und Skilifte, sowie eine Kunsteisbahn. Das Dorf Nesslau bietet ein Hallenbad eine Kegelbahn und eine Bibliothek, sowie auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und eine eigene Brauerei. Es ist auch möglich das Haus für ein Wochenende zu mieten.Leider keine Fremdsprachen kenntnis

    “Wir kommen gerne wieder! Positiv: Wir hatten mit unseren 3 Kindern (8,10,15 Jahre) eine tolle Zeit. In einer sehr schönen und aussichtsreichen Umgebung. Unsere Vermieter Rita und Hansuelie sind sehr nette und herzliche Gastgeber, die gerne jede Frage zur Umgebung und zur Landwirtschaft beantworten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Negativ: Das Haus ist sehr ringhörig und schnell voll Fliegen wenn man die Türe vergisst zu schliessen.”

Negativ: ----------------------------- Restaurant: Stump`s Alpenrose - auf dem Wanderweg nach den Schwendiseen, kann man nicht verfehlen. Typ für alle die nicht so viel essen wollen: nur eine Portion bestellen und einen zusätzlichen Teller (ist so auf der Speisekarte) Ausflüge: Iltios - Wanderung über den Klangweg zu den Schwendiseen, Mittagessen im Restaurant Stump`s Alpenrose, Bergaufwärts zur Bergstation Iltios.”
