House 33 A is a uniquely positioned holiday home in the village of Sveta Marina, in the old core, so to speak. In 2016 the house was completely renovated and equipped with all the amenities that make a relaxing and luxurious holiday. A very spacious terrace and well-tended lawns, covered barbecue, dining and cooking area with an open fireplace, sufficient parking space right next to the house, 2 comfortable bedrooms (parents and children), 1 bathroom, a large kitchen, living room with fireplace and sea views. The combination of traditional architecture with modern comfort is the great specialty of this house. The house was furnished in the old Istrian style. The garden impresses with a well-tended lawn, old olive trees, figs, cypresses and numerous roses. Sufficient rosemary and bay leaves are on hand when the kitchen calls for it. The location by the sea, with a view of the Kvarner Bay, the island of Cres and Losinj is magnificent, unobstructed view of the city of Rijeka, whose sea of ​​lights shimmering in the evening is a feast for the eyes. The house has a rare, very pleasant charm that infects you, never tires you and surprises you again and again. It is a pleasure to be in and around the house. Simply ideal for relaxing and unwinding. The best way to relax from the summer heat is to jump into the crystal clear water. The beach is below the house. The house has its own “plaza”, a concrete deck directly on the coast (not exclusive, as beaches in Croatia always have to be open to the public). The large public beach of the village is less than 4 minutes walk from the house, also directly under the property. A supermarket and restaurants are less than 350 m from the house. In a few minutes you can actually walk to everything you need on vacation. The car can stand still…. The region also has a lot to offer in culinary terms. We would be happy to give you appropriate recommendations for our highlights. There is something for every taste and almost every budget. The town of Labin, about 10 minutes away by car, is the focal point in the area. A visit to the historic old town with its churches, narrow streets, shops, museums, galleries, bars and restaurants is always worth a trip. At the city market you can experience the hustle and bustle of the regional sellers, there are fresh local products, excellent meat and sensational fish. The picturesque harbor town of Sveta Marina is located in the Kvarner Bay. This part of Istria is known for its Mediterranean climate, its subtropical vegetation and its unique, untouched nature. Sveta Marina is located at the foot of the Ucka massif. The seaside resort of Opatija, which was valued early on by Austrian emperors, is approx. 40 km to the east, approx. 40 km to the west is the coastal town of Pula with its famous amphitheater, in which first-class theater / music performances take place all year round. There is also an international airport here. This small, former fishing village is far from the major tourist centers of the Istrian peninsula. Time seems to be standing still here. You can still enjoy the peace and quiet and the original Istria, in its best purity. Sveta Marina lives from its simple simplicity, its still preserved, original character. The few old houses testify to the historical history of Croatia. And yet you will find amenities here, such as a supermarket, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, diving schools, camping sites, SUP and boat rentals. Without exaggerating, we can say that the water is "crystal clear". The Kvarner Bay is known for its cleanliness and biodiversity. It is not uncommon to see dolphins here - not only in the open sea, but also in the immediate vicinity of the coast, with the naked eye. The hustle and bustle of the dolphins is always a pleasure that you cannot forget.  The beach in the village is still not overcrowded, you never have to worry about not being able to “put a towel in between”. A few minutes' walk and you will always find a quiet place to devote yourself to sunbathing entirely by yourself. A road runs along the entire coast towards Ravni, the next town in the south, past picturesque empty bays. All adjoining bays around Sveta Marina can be easily reached on foot. Sveta Marina is not only predestined for pure relaxation. Sports addicts will also get their money's worth here: Pack your diving equipment: The diving schools located in Sveta Marina are among the best known and most renowned in Europe. The reefs around Sveta Marina are among the 40 most spectacular in the world!
