Our renovated holiday flat is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of the village with a view of the surrounding vineyards and heights of the Saar Valley. In addition to the complete equipment of a holiday flat, there is a spacious lockable room for storing bicycles and a parking space for your car. You can also use free internet via WLAN. After a short flat stretch, you can reach the cycle path along the Saar, the distance to Saarburg is approx. 5 km, Konz at the mouth of the Saar with access to the Moselle cycle path is just a little further away - so Trier is also easy to reach from Schoden. Alternatively, you can get to many destinations in the Saar and Moselle valleys from the nearby train station. The lower Saar valley also offers many opportunities for hiking and mountain biking in a charming and varied landscape.

    “Gastwirtschaft in manchen Orten noch geschlossen,oder machten Mittagspause.
    Vorschriften über Vorschriften für Öffnungszeiten. Positiv: Sehr freutliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber Negativ: Keine Straußwirtschaften.
    Einkehr bei Winzern sehr,sehr wenig. Restaurant: Auberger St.Laurentius - Sehr gutes Essen und Bedienung. Ausflüge: Saarburg - Alt und InnenStadt”

    “Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub.
    Fahrradtouren lohnen sich zum Beispiel nach Saarburg ca. 4 km
    wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Positiv: Sehr nette Vermieter, Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und sauber.
    Preis Leistung ist Top wir kommen gerne wieder. Negativ: Direkt Vorort keine Einkaufs Möglichkeiten, aber mit bisschen Planung geht das schon.”

    “Positiv: Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten mal innerhalb von 5 Monate in der Wohnung das sagt ja schon alles.
    Gastgeber sehr gut immer Ansprechbar. Die Ferienwohnung können wir mit ruhigem Gewissen weiterempfehlen”

    “Positiv: Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Ferienwohnung liegt in dem kleinen Ort Schoden, wer es ruhig mag, ist dort bestens aufgehoben. Wir haben seit langem nicht so gut geschlafen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in dem ca. 4,5 km entfernten Saarburg, dort bekommt man alles was man braucht. Freizeit: Da wir zum Jahreswechsel Dezember/Januar dort waren und das Wetter nicht immer mitspielte, haben wir nicht so viel unternommen. Wir können den Wolfspark in Merzig empfehlen.”
