Die Ferienwohnung Silbersand liegt im Ortsteil Haltern-Sythen in der Nähe des Silbersees und des Pricking-Hofes im Souterrain eines Mehrfamilienhauses. Zur Innenstadt nach Haltern am See sind es ca. 6 km. Im Ortsteil Haltern-Sythen selbst gibt es verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Viele Rad- und Wanderwege liegen in unmittelbarer Umgebung wie auch der Silbersee III, der zur stillen Erholung dient. Zum berühmten Badesee Silbersee II mit weißem kilometerlangem Strand sind es nur wenige Minuten Fußweg.
Die Wohnung ist neu und modern eingerichtet. Im Garten befindet sich ein kleiner Gartensitzplatz.

    “We would recommend this appartement and the aria for a very nice holiday. Positiv: The whole appartement is beautiful and in the kitchen is every thing you need, just more than home. Very nice owners, always in for a talk and with very good information. Negativ: The WiFi was not so good, but the owners will fix this for the future.”

    “Absolut empfehlenswert - Ankommen - Auspacken und der Urlaub beginnt! Positiv: Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, die Ausstattung der Wohnung ließ keine Wünsche offen, von Kaffeemaschine (inkl. Kaffee) über Dosenöffner, Spülmaschine (inkl. Tabs), Gesellschaftsspiele bis zur Nagelschere ist alles vorhanden, die Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend. Negativ: Den Weg zum Silbersee sollte man lieber mit dem Auto zurück legen, zumindest wenn man mit Kindern baden gehen möchte, da man dann ja doch etwas mehr zu tragen hat. Restaurant: Factory Dorsten - Amerikanisches/Mexikanisches Buffet, sehr große Auswahl an leckeren Speisen. Ausflüge: Silbersee - wunderschöner Badesee mit Sandstrand und Strandbar.”
