The Gîte de Montorgueil welcomes you to a comfortable setting, ideally located on the outskirts of Carcassonne, amidst a preserved natural environment. Less than 10 minutes from the Medieval City and the historic center of La Bastide, our establishment invites you to enjoy the tranquility of a one-hectare park or to explore the local attractions. In the immediate vicinity, you will find iconic sites such as the Canal du Midi, the banks of the Aude River, Lake Cavayère (accessible by car in just 5 minutes), the Cathar Castles of Lastours, the Grottos of the Black Mountain, and the Abbey of Caunes-Minervois. For your everyday shopping needs, local village markets are at your disposal, or alternatively, two commercial areas are less than a 5-minute drive from the cottage.

The Gîte de Montorgueil, with its multiple levels featuring steps and stairs, offers you a welcoming space. The living room, equipped with reversible air conditioning for your comfort, is complemented by a kitchen equipped with a bar and dining area, as well as a fireplace. You can also enjoy a spacious terrace with panoramic views of the park and surrounding scrubland, equipped with garden furniture and a plancha grill. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with a double bed and two single beds, while the bathroom has a shower and separate toilet. Upstairs, a mezzanine with a library and relaxation area, along with a third bedroom with a queen-size bed, provide additional space for relaxation.

To enhance your stay, you can take advantage of the owners' swimming pool (5x10 meters, depth from 0.50 to 2 meters) during specific hours (from 10 am to 6 pm). Despite its proximity to a national road, there are no significant noise disturbances. Finally, please note that small to medium-sized pets are welcome, but it is imperative to keep them on a leash due to the presence of other animals on the premises.
