Completely independent gîte, halfway between Toulouse and Albi.

Ideal for a quiet stay with family or friends, at the exit of the charming village of Giroussens, at the gates of the Gaillac Vineyard, Giroussens, an ancient bastide founded at the end of the 13th century around a castle overlooking the valley, was before the Revolution a small town prospers thanks to the activity of numerous potters established on the edge of the forest, using a privilege granted to the inhabitants to take wood from the forest to fuel their kilns. Some remarkable pieces remain from this local industry which can be discovered in particular at the Giroussens Ceramic Center.

Everything has been thought of at the Rivel for a peaceful holiday: quality of services, generous volumes, a beautiful terrace for pleasant summer evenings and a huge garden, without forgetting the covered bowling alley and of course the beautiful swimming pool, just for you!

Facing the front door, a park with a granite table in the shade of three large plane trees for pleasant outdoor meals. On the south side, the kitchen opens onto a large terrace from where you can admire the Agout valley and the village of Saint Lieux located below.
On either side of the access path, a plantation of trees (holm or downy oaks, field maples, umbrella pines) has been carried out over 4000 m².

- Four large bedrooms:
- all equipped with two 90x190cm beds per room
- a bedroom is located on the ground floor of the gîte, next to the living room
- three bedrooms located on the first floor of the gîte

- A bathroom with double sink, shower and bathtub located on the ground floor. Independent toilet on the ground floor
- A second bathroom located upstairs with sink and bathtub. Independent toilet upstairs

From the exterior terrace, the annex completes the gîte.
The annex consists of a small living room with a kitchen (oven, filter coffee maker sink, etc.) as well as a dining table for two people, a television.
Upstairs, the fifth bedroom with two single beds also 90x190cm and an adjoining bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

THE EXTERIORS:

Several terraces decorate the gîte.
- South terrace, with panorama of the Agout valley and the village of Giroussens; located in front of the gîte's kitchen with charcoal barbecue and gas barbecue/plancha with part of the covered terrace
- The small terrace of the Annex with its “bistro” table and chairs. Located next to the South terrace, allowing them to be connected together or isolated to enjoy a moment in the annex
- North terrace, cooler and therefore appreciated on hot days. It has a ping-pong table and table football; but also 10 bikes which are at your disposal to allow you to stroll around the village of Giroussens

The Games Hangar: equipped with lighting for the evenings, located a few meters from the gîte, it is the perfect place for a game of badminton, put up a few basketball hoops or even play a game of pétanque!

The swimming pool measures 11 x 5 m with a progressive depth from 0.90 cm to 1.70 m. Solarium and outdoor shower.
