The Sabiou gîte is an old farm, on the banks of the Aveyron river, a river which has dug its bed between the Causse de la Madeleine and the first foliage of the Grésigne forest.
The gîte has been set up in the old barn, with a lovely view of the limestone cliffs. The river is right there, at the end of the field, to cool off in summer or go fishing. The more sporty can explore the numerous hiking or mountain bike trails crisscrossing the Causse, or try climbing or caving. For lovers of heritage and old stones, the choice of visits is vast: Bruniquel and its castle, Penne fortress, hanging village of Puycelci, bastide of Saint-Antonin, wash houses and mills...
** THE GITE **
Completely independent house, in the small hamlet of Sabiou, near the secondary house of the owners who only come to maintain the exterior of the gîte (they do not sleep there). With its stone walls, and the proximity of the river 150m away, the house is cool. Tranquility guaranteed in Sabiou!
Possibility of accommodating up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) thanks to the two 90cm single bunk beds located in the living room (separated by a curtain).

- open kitchen equipped with an oven, toaster, kettle, filter coffee maker, microwave and fridge with freezer.
- living room area with convertible sofa, TV and fireplace (wood available)
Sleeping area (access with 4 steps from living room):
- bedroom with double bed 140x190cm

The exterior: the cottage is surrounded by grass! The river is 150 meters just below. In front of the gîte, a wooden table, sun loungers and a covered shelter if you wish to eat outside sheltered from the sun.
You can park on the side of the gîte.
The 4G network is weak, ideal for a green holiday!
