Stroll to the sea and spend wonderful days swimming, sunbathing and playing on the beautiful sandy beach in summer. In spring and autumn, let the wind blow around your nose on a walk along the beach. You can learn all about the animals and plants in the Wadden Sea as well as the storm surges on the Halligen and the interplay of high and low tide on a guided mudflat hike. Ferries depart from the harbour in Dagebüll to the islands of Föhr and Amrum, both of which are well worth a day trip. The North Frisian landscape invites you to go hiking and cycling, and anglers will find good conditions for their hobby here.
