Set a beautiful birthday table with candles and the children's homemade forest decorations. Grandma and grandpa are waiting anxiously in the red armchairs. If the little ones get bored, they can play with the car racetrack. Afterwards, everyone can make stick bread outside over the fire. Those who need a bit of relaxation or wellness can pamper themselves in the sauna. The next day you can swim in the lake and have a picnic.

Explore Eggedal, a valley and municipality in Viken county. Immerse yourself in the history of the famous Vikings. Hike in beautiful mountain scenery to the Madonna statue or rent a canoe. Høgevarde is the second highest peak in the Norefjell mountains and is known for its expansive views over eastern Norway. For mountain hikers this is a must.
