Bring your bikes and relax in Färjestaden on the sandy beach or stroll through the streets of the village. From here you can also take the ferry to Kalmar or take the bridge and visit the castle. There are also castles on the island of Öland, for one, Solliden Castle, the summer residence of the Swedish royal family, or Borgholm, which is considered the most beautiful castle ruin in Scandinavia.
