Set in a quiet rural location just a 20 minutes’ walk from Stavros beach and 15 minutes for a mini-market. A short walk leads to the main road where you can get a bus into the beautiful Chania City.  

Selene, in Greek mythology is the goddess and personification of the Moon. She is the smaller of the two Galini Villas located in a rural setting but within easy access of Stavros and the lovely City of Chania. Galini meaning tranquillity, is just what you can expect staying in this modern fully equipped villa with a private pool and outside spaces. Selene is only just available, so we have yet to finish the small details.

On entering the villa you will step into the dining room, with access to the pool. To you left is the sitting room with a smart tv and to your right is the fully fitted kitchen. Leading off the sitting room you will find the outside spaces. There is also a guest WC on this level.

Upstairs you will find a double bedroom with lots of storage, a family bathroom with a large shower and a bunk bedroom. Both these bedrooms have sea views from their balconies. There is also a large terrace with sea views.

On the lower level you will find a twin bedroom with a shower room at the bottom of the stairs. You will also find the washing machine on this level.  

An outside sitting area, soon to be covered, leads off from the sitting room. A step away is the covered dining area with a gas BBQ. The swimming pool is accessed from the living room or a path from the front door. By the swimming pool is the shower. There is plenty of space for parking your car.

Selene can be rented with Helios making Galini Villas. These two can accommodate 14 people.

Being on the Akrotiri means you are no more than twenty minutes from Chania Airport and seven sandy beaches within easy driving distance from the villa. Chorafakia, just a few minutes’ drive has a small supermarket, a pharmacy, taverna and coffee shops. The town of Kounoupidiana, just 15 minutes’ drive away, has three large supermarkets, fish monger, butchers, pharmacies, restaurants and more. The Venetian city of Chania, a must visit, is 15km away. The Old Town is a place to wonder through taking in its changing history from the Minoan times onwards. You will find all the shopping facilities you could want, a very large selection of places to eat from snack bars to high class restaurants.
