At Villa Cascada you will find a place that fits this description perfectly, where you can relax in the midst of peaceful nature. The small house in true Mallorcan style with a natural stone façade offers the perfect retreat in a rich natural environment with a cosy living space that is superbly equipped. Modern sustainable energy sources (photovoltaic cells and wind power), supply and waste disposal systems allow the property to be managed in a natural environment without sacrificing modern comforts. This ecologically managed holiday home is ideal for couples who want to enjoy an independent experience in the Mallorcan countryside and enjoy nature and life in a 400-year-old villa. A long driveway lined with olive trees leads to the villa, which is located in a remarkably quiet spot on the estate. Through a large archway you enter the villa's fenced garden area. As soon as you step outside, you realise that this tranquil villa offers exactly what you would expect from a relaxing holiday: a spacious swimming pool with sun terrace (and outdoor shower). Two steps lead to the outdoor dining area between the pool area and the house. Out here there is a built-in barbecue so you can prepare meals al fresco. Depending on the time of day, this area is in the shade or in the sun; good thing there is an alternative on the other side of the house, where you will find a small covered terrace with an additional table and a wooden bench. Here you can enjoy the view of the trees and the green landscape around you over your morning coffee and look forward to the day ahead. So you always have the opportunity to relax in the sun.

The open-air terrace on the pool side of the house not only faces a natural stone wall, but also a huge patio door that leads into the open-plan living space. The stylish garden furniture on the terrace will whet your appetite for what awaits you inside the villa. And you will not be disappointed in any way. Large ceramic floor tiles, smooth plastered walls in a soft eggshell colour and exposed wooden beams on the ceiling create a beautiful atmosphere that combines contemporary style with homely comfort. This space is filled by a multi-purpose room where separate living, dining and kitchen areas are arranged to ensure an overall sense of balance and harmony. The living area is furnished with a beige sofa set where you can relax and unwind in front of an LCD TV and a fireplace when it gets chilly. Between the open-plan living area and the kitchen is a dining room that combines the classic country house style of a vintage-look table with the more modern look of blue plastic chairs, as they also make such an impact on the terrace. This lively mix of styles also characterises the spacious area where the high-quality fitted kitchen is located, with grey country-style units accentuated by cool stainless steel. This enviably beautiful kitchen is fully equipped, including a toaster, coffee machine, gas hob and oven, large fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and much more. So you can be sure that your holiday will continue to be a relaxing experience even when dealing with the day-to-day necessities of your chosen style of self-catering. Villa Casacada is an adults-only villa.

The bedroom is located behind the open-plan living area, another stylish, incredibly cosy room with beautiful white furniture. The double bed is of comfortable proportions, 1.60 metres wide and 2 metres long. There is also a large, matching white wardrobe with plenty of storage space for all the clothes you take with you on holiday. You can shield the light in both the bedroom and the living room with the wooden shutters in a beautiful light white colour. The dark ceramic flooring from the other rooms is also used in the en-suite bathroom, elegantly blending in with the overall design concept of the house. Even the wall tiles in the open, walk-in shower area are in the same colour. The exquisite bathroom fittings are anything but average and the highly original design is also emphasised by the use of small decorative mosaic tiles. One thing we really liked about this place is that the bathroom has another door that leads outside. It opens up to a small, secluded courtyard area that also provides direct access to the pool area. This is just another example of how incredibly well designed this beautiful villa is. And as the house can also be heated, it can be rented out all year round. A winter holiday in Mallorca has its own special charm; we know that from experience.

Villa Cascada is a completely detached property on a huge villa plot (over 30,000 m² about the size of six football pitches!), on which there are also four other villas scattered around the grounds, just as beautiful as this one and also included in our portfolio. This fabulous property is located near the small town of Costitx, which lies on Mallorca's central plain, the Plà de Mallorca. In fact, it's so small that it's all too easy to drive in at one end and drive straight out at the other and miss the town completely. Nevertheless, Costitx has a lovely little village square in the centre as well as a church, a town hall, a bar, a bank, a pharmacy, a grocery shop - basically everything you need. The modern fountain, marble benches and children's play equipment are deliberately designed to contrast with the traditional sandstone houses with dark green shutters. Costitx is a place that has managed to retain its authenticity and you will quickly make friends when you come here on Saturdays to shop or simply stroll around the market in Plaça de la Mare de Déu and Plaça del Jardí . Another interesting thing about Costitx is that it is home to Mallorca's only observatory. A visit is not only worthwhile for romantics. Due to the location of the villa in the centre of the island, all destinations are within easy reach from here, so you have many different things to do during a stay in this highly recommended holiday home. The modern natural stone villa Cascada enjoys a wonderfully rural location in the centre of the island between Costitx and Sencelles. On Saturdays, you can drive less than 4 km to the market in Costitx to buy groceries and other necessities in a traditional small town in the centre of Plà de Mallorca. Due to the villa's location in the centre of the island, you can quickly reach the capital Palma as well as the spectacular Es Trenc beach and several other natural sandy beaches by rental car.
