Cottage with a breathtaking view

Our cottage is on one of the most beautiful spots on Lake Lucerne. It overlooks Lake Lucerne and has a full view into the Swiss Alps. It is available for short term stays or a long lasting holiday - however you wish. It is very romantic and cosy with its wood construction and is ideal for families, single couples or single travelers.
It guarantees an easy-going holiday in the midst of nature, just 6 miles from the pulsing city of Lucerne.

The Guetsch is on one of the most superb locations in Switzerland and Lake Lucerne - it is hard to beat and not easy to get something like this privately owned to spend a short term holiday.

15 walking minutes to the train station, shopping and restaurants. Sandy beach. Quiet location - but lying very convenient to countless sport-activities or the most beautiful tourist attractions, the Swiss Alps, the ski resorts and the business cities Lucerne, Zug or Zürich.
2 train stops away from the old town of Lucerne, one train every hour in every direction.

The cottage accommodates living space on 3 floors. On the first floor you will find one bedroom with one double bed, a living room with TV and a Sofa plus an cozy dinette with view over lake lucerne. The living room is divided to the bedroom with a foldable but solid wall. This gives space during the day and privacy in the night. On the third floor is the second bedroom with 2 single beds and one double bed.
On the ground floor is the kitchen with stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and kitchen utility.
Next to the kitchen you will find the new renovatet bathroom.

In front of the cottage is your private garden with barbeque.

Excursion possibilities: Merlischachen is in the heart of Switzerland and perfekt to discover all the beautifull sights in Switzerland. You can discover mount Rigi (climbingpark, hikingtracks with fireplaces along the tracks to grill your one Bratwurst..) Mount Pilatus (steepest cog railroad of the world, climbing park, toboggan run, big play ground with fireplaces and ofcourse miles of walking tracks), the animal park in Goldau and many many things more just around the corner..!
