Detached wooden house with a garden, right by the bank of the Blavet River
This wooden house is in the little medieval town of Hennebont, right on the tow path of the Blavet River. The house looks out at the river and the first lock is just a kilometre away. It is a quiet holiday residence for nature lovers and those who enjoy fishing.
The 60m² house is simply and functionally furnished and can accommodate six people. It has a living room with a sitting and dining space, as well as satellite TV and a DVD player. The adjoining kitchen provides a gas stove, oven, fridge with a small freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and dishwasher. There are two bedrooms, of which each has a double bed, a single bed and a cupboard. The bathroom has a washbasin, a shower and a washing machine. The WC is separate. The house has electric radiators.
All around the house there is a little garden with garden furniture and a charcoal grill. You can sit comfortably here and enjoy a beautiful view out over the river. A parking space is available. You are allowed to bring pets.
The tow path along the Blavet leads directly past the house and is suitable for walking and cycling. You can also go fishing in the river. In front of the house you can fish in brackish water and a kilometre upstream by the first lock in fresh water. The nearest shops are two kilometres away. It is 13km to the beach and the sea. It is best to explore the town of Hennebont, which has preserved its medieval heritage, on foot on Thursdays, when the biggest market in the region is held.
