Das Haus ist in einer kleinen Bungalowsiedlung bei Oostmahorn am Lauwersmeer gelegen.
Es ist für sechs Personen ausgerichtet, besitzt drei Schlafzimmer mit je zwei Betten, einen großzügigen Wohnraum mit abgeteilter Küche sowie ein Badezimmer und eine getrennte Toilette. Es ist sowohl gemütlich als auch praktisch eingerichtet und mit allem Notwendigen einschließlich Fernseher mit Kabelanschluss und freiem WLAN ausgestattet.
Ein kleiner Garten mit Terrasse rundet das Ganze ab.
Zur Anlage gehört auch ein Spielplatz mit 2 Fußballtoren, einem Basketballkorb und einem Volleyballfeld.Das nahegelegene Lauwersmeer ist ein Paradies für Angler und Wassersportler aller Art. Zander und Hechte von einem Meter und länger sind hier keine Seltenheit.
Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist ca. 2 km entfernt, die nächste größere Stadt ist Dokkum (ca. 10 km)
